There's nothing fun about Quake... I remember back in the day when Quake I came out. After sych long time playing all sorts of doom like games (Rise of the Triads kicked ASSS ) there was finally an engine capable of having 'real' 3d. At first it was fun, yes, as with most things new and innovating ( I cannot denie that, it was DEFINITLY innovating)... but it was soooo boring -_- .
Now Duke Nukem 3D was way better than quake , even with those fake looking sprites , it was FUN to play. Quake == boring. The best 3d shooter ever I believe ( that nock-off they made afterwards with the samurai dude was nice too, but the fun just didn't stick... , me hums "Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merely merely... " )
And regarding unreal... it's better than Quake anyday (xcept the bots in Unreal 1...talking about in-human , damn ) .
Funny, because the stores keep telling us they are 'selling software'. It always says "Buy windowsXp", it never says "license WindowsXp" here. How can an EULA be legal if it is only shown AFTER the product has been bought and paid for ?!
So I keep hearing about these EULA's included with music cd's. I was wondering, how much legal strengtth does an EULA for a music cd have ?
It is an agreement, so I'd need to agree with it, right ? If I don't agree with I'm not allowed to listen to my cd ? I bought a MUSIC cd, that was the whole transaction , right there, the moment I paid for my music cd . I'm allowed to do anything with it that I wish (in the bounds of copyright law...) .
Wrong ; Animeeshon is simply the way a japanese person would pronounce the english (or french word) animation. Thus it IS derived. However, the Japanese have the nice habit to shorten words, therefor it became 'anime' .
In short : animation -> animeeshon -> anime.
In space, everything has a gravity,
Guess what, they also have it on earth...
that sounds funny... let me rephrase : on earth, everything has a gravity also... (and I don't mean our planets gravity )
I think they might have learned something from the oopses...
Nintendo created the GC with a specific idea/design in mind and they stuck with it. That was not a 'mistake'. They don't need to 'learn something from the oopses'... they are the oldest player on the gameconsole market around and they know how it works.
If kids sneak in and jump in the pool and drown, it's thear own damn fault. Not that it isn't sad, but it is their own fault. Who do you hold responsible if they would've jumped into a lake and drowned... them.
Not only is Google trying to rewrite copyright law, it is also crushing creativity. If publishers and authors have to spend all their time policing Google for works they have already written, it is hard to create more.
THAT is his argument as to how google crushes creativity. It is then hard to believe there is any creativity nowadays at all. You have to scan billions of sites to see if they have or have not published any of your works without your permission.
I call bs.
I'll 'fourth' that. Never been able to play AvP2 though (at that time the sys reqs were too high ^_^; )
The blips... they were enough to drive you insane. Not to mention when the aliens actually came out.
System Shock was pretty scary too. But AvP is on top of my list. What on earth was there scary about Phantasmagoria? Besides the sheer volume of cds ? Just a lot of gore, little scare.
Lilo and Stich were a succes. Brother Bear however wasn't. So, In the past 8 years or so, they made one hit? Ow and bought some Gibli movies and brought them out under there own names ( Mononoke Hime and Spirited Away) .
All they really do nowadays is churn out crappy sequels. ( Have you SEEN Perter Pan 2 ? wtf ? ) .
All movies created by Pixar under Disney's name were more Pixar than Disney. Pixar won't lose much.

What use is it being cheaper if you do not have pr0n while the competition does ?

The issue is that the abbreviation contains 'Javascript' ...
and we all know JavaScript is the root of all evil , right ? (next to girls that is )
no more free speech for y'all americans, ey ?
And they , just as with Vista, probably will have to ditch some features. Dependability being the first one ...

... and why DO you have an iPod if I may ask ?
DUPLO legos

So, what was the gaming/coding girl supposed to wear then ? Wool socks and one of those grey dull dresses covering all skin ?
Doom and Doom II ran perfectly fine on my 386. You just had to know how to handle the memory management when booting DOS.
