I couldn't figure out what to do with out clicking.
Everyone praise the clicking overlords.
It doesn't say how much a Wii point is worth, but is sounds like 1 cent = 1 Wii point. So if that's true then a NES game would be $5 up to an N64 game being $10. This fits closely with their pricing scheme they had before.
I'm assuming they set up Wii points so parents could get their kids gift cards, with say 3000 Wii points on it, so kids can now get the games online with out a credit card.
I don't see how Myspace is responsible. It's the kids that made it who are responsible for this, and are the ones that should be sued. The reason for this is they read and electronically signed an agreement with Myspace prior to creating the page on Myspace. This makes them responsible for what they post and that they won't break copy write and other laws through Myspace's interface.
If there is something legally I'm missing I honestly would like to know.
is when it pits you against people of your same score or rank. They expect you to be good, but since your score was bought you just unbalance the game and potentially ruin it for everyone else. This is a horrible idea, and waste of money.
and I definitely spent time playing video games during the week, some times more than their 4 hours/day they recommended for the weekend. Many of my good friends play more than me and still do great in school. This is either total bunk or all my friends are exceptions to the rule. At least the submitter said, "correlation does not equal causation".
My wallet, I just took a cigarette tin and used that. It comes with a clip and locking front too. I've gotten a ton of compliments on it too, which wasn't the point or my expectation. Best of all it was free, because a cigarette company wanted me to smoke, and I don't, so they just sent it in the mail with coupons for incentive.
..while only 8% care about motion / tilt sensing (sorry, Nintendo)
Depending on how the questions were worded. If they were asking purely about the motion/tilt feature on a PS3 controler, I would say "I could care less if it's there."
However if they were asking if I was interested, wanted, the motion/tilt feature on the Wii controler. The answer would be, "heck yes!!"
Knowledgeable Christians have been fighting this struggle for so long. They go to church so they think they're Christian, and it's awesome, so they tell everyone about it. But most of the time this is detrimental to the cause.
Many of them miss the point it's about giving not taking, sigh. Which brings up back to OSS, most of the time people make these programs to give to the community not take from it.
With so many Sony battery problems occurring; it seems like Sony is so busy working with the Blue-ray and cell chip for the PS3 that they forgot how to make safely working batteries.
What I mean by that is there are no new genre defining games coming out anymore. Maybe it's because we've reached hardware & software limitations or maybe it's because no one is willing to risk it with so many popularized genres out there to make a buck off of.
Have you even heard of the Wii. It proves hands down we aren't limited by hardware. Resident evil 4 was one of prettiest games of the last generation of consoles, was the Gamecube the most powerful though? People are still making amazing looking games for the Playstation 2 and unlocking some of it's power when it comes to dynamic shadowing effects.
With more powerful systems we're just making it so the programmers can write sloppier code which the hardware will make up for. Photoshop is a 450 meg program, but it's amazing how powerful it it. It's because the programmers didn't write spaghetti code for it.
Effectively what I'm saying is the majority of companies lack creativity. The niche market is creativity right now. Game play is now being shunned by pretty graphics. The truly great games, in terms of creativity right now, are sacrificing graphics, but the game play is unmatched.
I definitely agree it's not a golden age in gaming, but at least Nintendo is trying to make a revolution, or Wii, haha.
This is getting ridiculous. We should just get movies on little mini-drives (like thumb drives) we can pop into our TVs to play the movie, screw the moving parts and all too. I would have said a non-media like the online stores basically have, but the bandwidth and DL speed isn't up to par yet. But of course the cost of the mini-drives would be huge in comparison to a new age DVD. Maybe places like Best Buy could download the movies then we just have to bring our mini-drive there and pay a fee to transferee the data, save on the DL time too. My idea is about as far fetched as trying to put all the formats on one disc I'd say.
Why the disproportionate emphasis on gas prices in our culture, then?
Because we're not Europe and we "need" cars to get us to were we want to go. We don't have that great of a busing, rail, or subway system in the US. We also set up cities in a way that you can't get to the nearest grocery store with out driving or walking at least 2-5 miles. Our jobs are typically even further away, just guessing here but closer to 5-15 miles away. Some people even commute an hour daily just to get to work.
We use a lot of gas why wouldn't we put emphasis on it?
Haven't we learn from older cars that having a large metal casing doesn't really make you safer? The lighter, crushable, more malleable case, to lessen the impact, is actually safer and is what is used today.
Based on that a military-grade case, like they show, it wouldn't help much from dropping your iPod. Dropping your iPod probably, along with getting wet, is the highest cause of breaking your iPod. I'd say a rubber case would be the safest bet to secure your iPod from both these situations.
I heard for Halo 4 they'll have 4 different versions.
All this talk of Google's inovation, and MS bashing, made me think they should make an OS.
Who else would like to see Google make an OS?

I thought you were going to say it's a conspiracy to make you download IE7.
It actually has 6 main buttons, 4 on the right "a,b,x,y" and the "l" and "r" buttons. Oh and don't forget the stylus.
The editor must have droped out of highschool too.

Wii assumed that was iimplied.
Then the only difference legally would be that at the bookstore the publishers are letting it be distributed to those stores.
If they also let them be distributed via Google, then there is no difference.
Thats it I'm getting an MBA on top of my IT bachelors.

(and still only about 400 interested in the World Cup).
I love that you threw that in there. It's sad, but true.
Not always the faster one, or better one, but the one the average customer decides to buy.
super-ultra high-res mega-spec
With how many games are are having sequels; this sounds like a great sequel title.
I'll take gameplay over graphics any day
