This may revolutionize the porn industry. Imagine taking all the best porn actresses in their primes and putting them all in one movie. Check that, 1,000 different movies. Now it's possible. On a serious note, the less actual sex involved in making the porn, the less risk to the actors.
If this technology is used for pr0n its only a matter of time until someone sells custom-made pornos of the buyer with the partner(s) of thier choice.
Interesting how when code is in Windows, it is unsecure. As soon as they throw it out, it is "tried and tested". Maybe they should throw out all of Vista and our security problems will be solved!
Of course it should be noted that Symantec have a vested interest in reporting Vista to be unsecure.
Lets just hope that chunks of Aero Glass foam don't tear off it during the product launch.

One of the things that made adventure games good back in the day is that if you got stuck on a puzzle, you really had to nut it out. Walkthroughs and hints were not as easy to come by. Much of the gameplay in an adventure game is the solving of the puzzles, if you can easily get help when you get stuck, there isn't that much gameplay in such games. I think this is why games like Psychonauts are the next logical step, they have similar elements but more elements to them than the old adventure games that are purely problem solving.
Do we really need even more inducement for people trying to become the next internet "big thing"? Here in my home town we have already had some idiot pasting posters around town saying "Who is the {insert town name>} Ninja???", with a web address at the bottom.
The internet funnies have already become so contrived that people with little talent see it as their best chance for their 5 seconds of fame. Gone are the days when a gawky Turk called Mahir could accidentally become an internet fad, or that an overweight Star Wars nerd could not want to become an internet phenomenon. Now every man and his e-dog are trying to come up with the next "O RLY?" or the next "all your base" and it's getting a little tiresome.

While I applaud it, I remember the resurrection of Ren & Stimpy and how it just wasn't quite the same anymore. The making of a popular series can often rest on the frenzy of creating the episodes and the chemistry of those at work on it. Add an interruption, time for other projects and influences, what will become of pulling the team back together? Will it be the same, or will it be like, "well, Bender saying, 'bite my shiny metal asee' doesn't totally suck, but it's just, you know, different now."
I'm not sure that is a very good comparison, as the later episodes of Ren and Stimpy were after Nickelodeon fired John Kricfalusi. It would be akin to Fox getting rid of Matt Groening as the creator of the Simpsons and Futurama. The new episodes may not have the same magic, but if so, it won't be because the creator has been turfed, as far as I know.
Well its not surprising, Hollywood joined the US Government first. First Ronny Raygun, the Jesse Ventura and Arnie. Maybe the Republican Party could put Carl Weathers up as the next presidental candidate and the holy Predator trinity will be complete! Or maybe in future, US elections could use peoples TV sets as voting machines, and depending on whether Commander in Chief or The West Wings gets more viewers, Geena Davis or Martin Sheen could be made the next prez.
Oh, and it also checks for updates, so Microsoft can presumably execute arbitrary code on any machine with it installed, merely by making that code part of a WGA update.
If this is true then it is only a matter of time before someone hacks it and uses it to write some malware which only damages people who own a genuine copy of Windows. Surely Microsoft can't be *that* stupid?
I managed to hack my electricity so it reached areas it never did before. I used this hacking device called an "extension cord".
"One of god's own prototypes, to weird to live, too rare to die"
Gonzo Journalism lived and died with HST, what is needed is someone to come up with something original, not copy what he did.

The same could be said of any picture taken of anyone in a public place. Shall we ban cameras completely?
Hey, it works for the Taliban.
1/ Rip off Diablo 2
2/ ?
3/ No profit
4/ Blame MMO by same company

I hope it is as good as Diakatana.
Heck, if the US developed a cure for cancer or AIDS and shared it with the world, maybe they would hate us less and stop killing our civilians.
More likely it would be used to sell people their own bone marrow for a profit.

Maybe I'm just getting old and cynical
When Elite Torrents released a crappy quality dvd screener of ep3, George Lucas set the FBI and the goddamn NSA onto them. Brave, brave people.
One man's feature is another man's bloat...
Exactly... XGL is "sexy", Aero Glass is "bloat"

Which would be relevant if the story was about MS employees using Linux as their search engine :P
Google employees probably use Microsoft's Operating Systems more than they do Google's ;)
Good luck against Rupert Murdochs lawyers

Obviously the other thing that is too complex is the whole to/too/two thing ;)
Or even better, tell him you are going to download one of his CDs and wire 10 bucks to a Paypal account of his choice.

1/ Select Opponent
2/ Right click portrait
3/ Click "duel"
(how ironic, the word to confirm I'm not a bot is "brawler")
Or, for a bit of masturbatory irony, some downloaded Bang Bus clips.
By releasing this for free I'm sure they would be missing out on some lost sales, maybe the RIAA will sue them.
