people actually thought Day after tomorrow would be good? holy cow! I knew it would suck as soon as i saw the trailer. One of these days I need to come up with a formula to judge a movie accuratly via its trailer, because about 90% of the time i can tell if a movie will be bad or good based on its trailer alone.
too bad SP2 destroyed my Networking service, so i cant change anything about my network card. Also, too bad im too lazy to frag my drive and reload windows to fix it, since its a rare problem and there is no safe fix.
FDIC only insures accounts up to $100,000. So if you have 1 million in funds, you can have 10 accounts in the US to guarantee that your mony is safe, or 1 account offshore.
Mission Commander: HAL, open the shuttle cargo bay doors. HAL? HAL!
HAL 9000: BSOD
Mission Commander: Damn, I knew we shouldnt have had Microsoft program HAL...
Unfortunatly, that was then and this is now, and there's not much the US can do but build a memorial.
yea, its kinda hard to tell 300 million people to just 'get out'.
That usualy because beta testers just want to play the game instead of giving good advice back to devs... Devs usualy only hear about the things that are horribly wrong, not the little things that are really important but beta players just ignore because 'its a beta'
I knew a guy who had a Be Box. It was very cool, especialy because it was a tricked out box even before tricking out boxes was popular, and Be shipped it that way. I liked the dual processor light rails telling you how much of each CPU was being used...
I think one reason for the perceived vulnerability (it still is very vunerable) of windows is that it is so prevalent. If the situation was reversed, and linux was the mainstream and windows was not, who do you think would get more hacks and viruses? Linux of course. Because black hat hackers like causing mischeif, and same with virus coders. Are you going to code a virus for a minor operating system, or a major one? A Major one of course, because you can do the most damage that way!
Aha! So there is a method to the jedi's madness... Its just a political stunt to stop a piece of bad legislation... well... more of a bad add-on to a decent peice of legislation...

It was a popular series (popular among sci-fi fans) on fox when it was canceled pre-maturly. Thats why there is so much hype.
