Fine, so you think your reports are better than the other ones. That's fine. I just don't get what you're so angry about. And given the choice between some lunatic rant and a moderate exposition of facts, I'll tend to believe the second. Besides, I only need to look at the *political* side of the debate to understand pretty quickly what you guys are trying to do. Well, you can rest happy, knowing that you will probably succeed. Most people are just too easy. Not me.

Obvious bias? Well duh. Just like your sources. Problem is: yours do not address the inconsistencies and mistakes in mine. Mine DO point out the ones in yours. So far, I've found them much more correct.
But really, you and I both have our own idea and I believe we're not going to change it. So in the end this whole debate is just a waste of time.

Well, electric are ineherently less efficient than normal ones. There is only one step from oil to energy consumption, but there are many from whatever source you're using and probably burning anyway (!) to energy consumption in the case of electric cars. Even assuming some of that energy comes from renewable resources, still it makes up a very little percentage of the total and as such does not really drive up the efficiency to environmental damage ratio significantly.
Your pretty graphic shows 80% efficiency because it's based on a flawed assumption: that the energy cost of loading up your car with its energy source is the same.

most of the people I know won't even be able to tell the difference between KDE and Windows 100% true: a couple of years ago, this so-called web developer sat at my PC to use some IM program while I was fixing another one. The PC was running Mandrake. He fumbled around for a while, then I opened the program for him, can't remember what it was, either Kopete or GAIM. After a few more minutes of tinkering with the system he blurted out "My, you've really CUSTOMIZED YOUR XP to hell and back". I couldn't believe my ears but that's exactly what he said (translated for your convenience).

About 10 days ago I tested KDE4 on an OpenSUSE system, now I've just tried it on Windows too and I must say I'm astounded - many applications work just fine although they feel a bit sluggish. But the basic system is there and I believe it won't be long until we have a fully functional KDE4 shell as an alternative to Explorer. Or we could just stick to the apps and not use the whole desktop environment - in fact I'd like to use KOffice and a few other apps on my Windows box.
Considering it's such an early release, I'd say KDE4 on Windows is functional beyond any expectations, and in a couple of months I hope to be using it for real and not as a toy. Kudos to the KDE team, brilliant as usual.

Not the original poster, but I'll tell you what I think anyway.
The whole point of the idea of the Fall is that once you achieve knowledge, then you are responsible for yourself and will need to work out a way to survive and eventually be embraced by the grace of God. Before achieving God-like status by means of knowloedge, man was not responsible for himself, had no free will and was taken care of by God. After that, he had to adapt his ways of life quite a bit :). So in short, I think the most salient aspect of the Genesis is not the idea of the Fall, but rather that of acquiring free will and then making choices - e.g. to respect God or not - and living with the consequences, in the mortal and the after-life.
Finally, what if Adam were not a literal human being but just a "token" for humankind? That wouldn't be unusual at all.
