And if your system dies? When you get a new one call Nintendo's customer support, give them your old serial number and then give them your new serial number and Nintendo transfers everything you've purchased to your new console.

Not quite. My Wii died recently, and when I called Nintendo, they said you have to send the system in for repairs, otherwise they won't transfer any data.

I had assumed that since your girlfriend attends Dawson, you knew a bit more about the situation than other posters, which seems to be true. (Sidenote; yes, I do live in Montreal, and a few of my good friends were there. None of them got hurt, but they were there. I know what happened, and I've been listening to/reading the news every day since)

Not to nitpick, but your, and the GP's posts seem to presume that the shooter was a student at Dawson. The shooter was not, in fact, a student at this school, so the argument that he may have been a victim of bullying isn't all that valid. He was 25, and a graduate of a different school; he never attended the college where he opened fire.

Firefly was on Fox, a network TV channel. Now, I don't know the way things work where you are, but here in Quebec, if you don't have cable, you don't have Fox. Network channels are part of the cable tv package. So if these so-called "network" channels drop good shows, there's nothing good for me to watch on my cable TV.

(Yes, you can get a dish, but you'll still get the same crap, just in three timezones instead of one, so I'm ignoring that option.)

In Montréal, Québec, IGA does online orders and delivery (for only $6 Canadian shipping/handling, too!) with just about everything they carry. That includes fresh meat, fish, veggies, fruits, breads, and yes, beers and wines too. They used to sell cigarettes too, but due to a new law in Quebéc (or just Montréal, I'm not sure, I don't follow politics much), they had to stop.

So yes, some places CAN get booze delivered straight to your door! Heck, even the government-run liquor store does online orders and deliveries here!
