  2. Don't care. on Coffin Hotels Opening Near You · · Score: 2, Funny

Am I the only one who could care less how weird and uncomfortable these things are so long as it's cool and futuristic looking? I am such a slave to my geekness.

  3. Limit on size? on Kong Mirrors Real Evolutionary Paths · · Score: 1

I remember seeing some scientist on TV explain why giant ants the size of buildings would never work because living things just do not scale like that. When it gets too large the structure would not support it. Would the same apply to an ape? Common sense makes me think as long as everything enlarges evenly a creature could become infinitely huge. Someone correct me on this because I've never understood the logic of it.

I can't live with normal keyboards anymore. They are obsolete as far as I'm concerned. Split all the way. I'm pretty happy with my Microsoft Natural Pro but the keys seem more stiff than they should be for an ergonomic. What does everyone recommend?

It's hard to stomach having to shoot a zombie in the head the same number of times as in the body (six rounds from a pistol, thanks for asking) to dispatch it, when you can shoot a light fixture and watch how realistically light dances around the room.

You are forgetting about the BLOOD SUCKING LIGHTBULB MONSTERS!

I'm not very picky when it comes to news. I don't even mind a little bit of opinion here and there. But come on, these Slashdot stories are so sensationalistic and often misleading or dupes it's sad. The news posting system should use some sort of voting system like Digg.com. since the editors clearly hate their jobs.

Whew I just made my first Slashdot bashing post. Feels good!

Because if a near-free energy source was developed our oil dependent economy would be in trouble. Our supreme overlords would not like that very much.

There are all kinds of supposed suppressed technology like the free energy magnetic motor. Some are probably fakes but some look very convincing. I'm not an expert in any of this, but it's obvious power technology is being suppressed. Breakthroughs are made every day in technology but strangely rarely in energy research. How else can you explain our cars still using the same exact fuel they always have while my 5 year old computer is consider ancient.
