Yeah, those modern anti-retroviral are not so perfect though. Most of them are combo drugs which means you take multiple pills at a time. As a result of that the side effects can be extremely painful and dangerous. And I know, its better then death if you don't take them but finding a better alternative is a must. These drugs are expensive and the majority of individuals who have HIV don't have access to these them.

And just like anti-bioitics. After a certain period of time these drugs become ineffective. Hell, if you start missing doses or cant afford them it could easily be game over.

The people in these studies are failing current treatment methods. There is nothing left at this point.

Every time someone posts about HIV we get a jackass like you. There are people who have HIV and didnt contract it through sex or drugs.

There are people who were born HIV+ because their mother was a carrier, there are people who have been raped and now carry the virus, there are people in the medical field that contract it because some drug addict freaks out while they tend to them. Hell, even though we test blood now many people contracted it through blood transfusions before they tested it.

Oh and by the way. Condoms don't give 100% protection against HIV its about 80-85%.

HIV is a bastard of a virus. Our immune systems can usually handle most viruses without intervention. You cant win on your own against HIV. It will destroy the immune system eventually.

If this treatment is successful at this level. At least we can give life to those who didn't have the choice.

We haven't seen the long term results of these two markets. Personally, I got four guitars, a drum set, a microphone, and a dance pad that are just sitting around and I don't feel like getting burned buying another set for an updated game in the future.

I bet they will allow it but be prepared for a hassle. I mean look at the friend code system they have for playing games with your friends.

The best bet to see how Nintendo will do this is to find the instructions they have right now for transferring your account from a dead Wii to a replacement unit. That will give you a general idea of how some future transfer of accounts will work.

Also this is the same company that wanted me to pay $5 for Super Mario Brothers (AGAIN). Nintendo should have made this a free download when the Wii launched. So expect anything from them.

The thing about Doom is we felt alone. There were no computers to read dialog, no diary's, no nothing. It was you, a weapon, and a shit load of monsters. The feeling of being a world by yourself gives you a sense of helplessness, even though you knew you could beat blast the monsters away, if you got caught with no ammo, no one was there to save you.

With these newer games that are horror survival, there's usually a secondary character watching over you, so there is that chance they might save you even though they probably wont it gives you a different mindset.

Does it take 3 quick samples while someone is blowing and average them or just take it once (which could be wrong for some reason)? According to the article, it doesn't look like it does. It calibrates the wind sensor, but doesn't check that the calibration is sane. It doesn't report errors unless they happen 32 times in a row. It disables the watchdog timer. It disables the interrupt for illegal instructions. It doesn't meet any coding standards. It contains code with things like "this is temporary for now" in it. There is an obvious reason why they didn't want the code released.

This has nothing to do with open source this has to do with software that is half-ass'd but determines if someone has to go through years of court hearings, meetings, suspended license, and a whole waste of money because some company rushed their software engineer to write code that may be giving wrong results all together.

This code should be open to public discrimination, there would be no trade secrets if the law protects the code from someone else using it after its been opened to public discrimination because every company would have to disclose their software.
