i think you're misinterpreting the quote, 3d sequels were what the fans WANTED when the system came out. whether or not those sequels were as good as the SNES versions is irrelevent, the N64 came out and everyone said "oooh shiny! we want mario in 3d!!!" before they actually played it
already there, its the "feedback" system. cursing, cheating, screaming, etc are all options
first they get a temporary ban, habitual griefers get a service cancelation
the problem is, that its not automatic, staff have to evaluate each "problem case" when enough negative karma is acrued, then monitor the player's behaviour, so its a slow process
There was a Philip K Dick android at Comic-Con this year. it pretty much did the same thing, sit there. It could answer some questions based on pre-scripted responses though.
If there were a REAL video game music award, Katamari Damacy would have to be nominated. Each track is completely different, like a unique little jewel of pure musical joy.
And the soundtrack's got EVERYTHING from techno to big band.
EXACTLY! rising gas prices? increased terror attacks? the Karl Rove debacle? a controversial supreme court justice? (well, to be fair, there's never been a non-controversial one) no look! a videogame! quick everyone, look over here, no time to let any thoughts about those other issues sink in!
i have a feeling that that's partially why we won't be seeing this on XBox, MS probably made online play a requirement, and Namco didn't want to. seeing how online play isn't as popular or widespread on PS2, they could get away with not including it.
well, in England, you might get away with bare breasts in a game, but violence against humans? take a look at the British release of Half Life, the Marines have been turned into "robots". This goes way back too, the original Contra for NES? (up up down down lef- ahem) yeah... robots for both the player character and the enemies.
would the lesser of the two evils please stand up? hmmm, there seems to be some confusion......
wow, seriously, that's impressively bad. i wonder how embarassed those models would be now if you showed them that (now that they'd all be about 50 years old or so)
no matter what i do to it, flipping or rotating, i can't make my craters go "in". i'm trying to force my brain to put the light source to the right of the image, but it doesn't work.
it all ties into the "I love bees" alternate reality game last year. we players called ourselves "Beekeepers"; UF is www.UnFiction.com, the home for ARG playing; Centauri was a pretty prominent player on the boards; Durga was the half-insane rampant AI from the future that served as the main character of the game's story, Cent's sig comes from a running gag on the boards about Durga running for president (this was during the height of the presidential campaign last year)
ok, well... lets say there's... an open field... and a few people nearby, and you shoot into the field, not overly concerning yourself with the location of the people and... ok, now we're getting silly
By that logic, grandparent poster could go out to a crowded area and fire randomly over people's heads, but if he didn't kill anyone, he'd be legal.
There's a difference between choosing to do something in a responsible way or an irresponsible one. If you choose to smoke marjuanna, you should choose to do so in the confines of your own home and not engage in reckless activity, just as if you choose to own a gun, you should take precautions that it will only be used in the safest manor possible. Driving while high (or drunk) is the same as firing a weapon indescriminantly near people, whether or not someone actually gets hurt, you're endangering them.
yes, but that doesn't take into account the PSYCHOLOGY of humans. women who live together or are simply close often "synch" their cycles subconciously. mental stress can also alter a woman's cycle. i wouldn't be surprised if the phases of the moon (and subsequently our lunar calendar of months) influenced women at the dawn of history.
i know that the series jumped around a bit in the Belmont family history, but was there ever a game set in the 20th century?
i always thought a good Castlevania game could be done during or before World War II, with a Wolfenstein-esque story of Drac aligning himself with the nazis in a bit of comic-book geekery
and are still threatened with religious wackos cutting off access to healthcare services.
Any basis for this charge?
have you watched the news lately? we just had a supreme court nomination, and one of the key issues was (and still is) ABORTION.
there's lots of politicians and lobbyists who'd like to see a woman's right to choose taken away, yeah... there's a LOT of basis for that charge
sure, i'll believe an anonymously posted, uncited claim on the internet of shocking material, i mean, you can't BUY a more reliable source!
Street Fighter 2 made the top 10, i think they're including all editions in that entry.

some idiot mod'd the the first post a troll, but then the response is modded "funny"
problem is, the response doesn't make any sense without the first post, please remedy this
so it was a real person acting as a wax figure? was he just there to scare people?

perhaps i shouldn't have said "administration" then, what i really meant to say was:
"this GOVERNMENT makes me sick"

nah, he probably would have appreciated it :)

"WARNING: Graphic Content!!!
Do NOT push play if you don't want to see the explicit video!!!"
so 'explicit' that they were shown on primetime network tv? riiiiight

THANK YOU!
i can't believe the story got this far without them
wow, Quadra 900... i remember drooling over those beasts when i only had a lowly LC 520
then the 950 and the 840a/v came out later and.....
*sigh*
computers don't have those recognizable names anymore, they're all just generic models with different specs
