    Oh man, my wife and I played 'shots monopoly' with her family at thanksgiving last year. I think it was you drink when someone lands on chance/community chest, and you drink when you have to pay rent to someone. I can't remember exactly, for obvious reasons :P

    Bah, don't worry so much. In a few years, California will fall into the ocean and you'll have oceanfront property. You can sell if you want, or you can just let your rising property tax (because of the rise in value) work the glitches out of the roads.

    IMO - "semi-automatic" is most of the non-military firearms produced today. Full-automatic is self explanitory, and what I consider Assault Weapons. Lever, bolt, or pump action are all manual. Some people have nonstandard definitions for types of firearms, so I was really interested in exactly what Obama meant.

    I tried to do a little checking on Obama, what exactly does he consider a 'semi-automatic'? Rifle? Pistol? I guess I just haven't found the context. From what I could find, it seems black powder and bolt/lever action are okay?

    It was free when it was in 'beta', and it was free for a short time after it was fully released. It now costs a little money. I got mine for free, and its great for what it is. But lets face it, there's a reason people don't have WebTVs anymore. Reading web text on a TV suuuuuucks. For the record, my Wii alternates on a regular 480i CRT, to a 60" DLP 480p widescreen (its been on the DLP since xmas, where I got a component cable). There's a real media center box downstairs so the Wii doesn't browse much...

    Ha!

    I dropped $450 on a Macintosh G3 tower (400 mhz) years back mainly to play Escape Velocity. Of course, I've OC'd it to 450 mhz, and installed OS X on it. At the time it was the most ridiculous purchase for a single game I've ever made. Its still the most current Mac I own (until Xmas ;).

    I have a gamecube that started giving Disc Read Errors after about three years. I took it into a hole in the wall TV repair shop and got it repaired for $50. First repair didn't take and I had to take it back, but I only ever paid the cost of another game to keep my system going. It still works, but I predominately use the Wii for playing GC games now.

    Yeah, and I live in a dry county (campbell)... Some things are going to stay behind the times. I've heard TVA is thinking about revoking some money to the dry counties, because of the lost tax revenue. We'll see how that goes.

    If a 15 year old can't go out and buy a game that's not "acceptable" to their age, what's going to stop them from just grabbing the .torrent?

    Actually it was considerably closer to Crazy Taxi. Hit and Run didn't really have much depth. Crazy taxi just had punk rock clips in the background.

    He's right, I had a rent check mailed out dated the 1st, day after payday, and it got to my landlord early and they deposited it before the date on the check. Boy, was I pissed.

    Credit card companies aren't the ones hit by fraudulent charges. Typically, they bill the -merchant- with a "chargeback," on top of the transaction fee (a few percent) of the original transaction.

    Credit card companies aren't really losing money due to fraud. Merchants are.
