This is the first PC game that I've purchased in quite a while. I played the demo and loved it. I figured, they put out a quality product and deserve compensation. I'll be heading out to the store this afternoon to demand a refund.
I purchased this game on Saturday and will now be returning it. I refuse to add one dime to the coffers of those that would abuse their customers. I may or may not download a copy when it is stripped since I have enjoyed what I've seen so far.
No one hates freedom? I'm afraid you're quite wrong. Perhaps you meant that no one hates an open system of government, but that is not freedom. Personal freedom is the only kind that matters and there are quite a few people in the world that want to limit it. Gay marriage, prohibition, the war on drugs, religious choice, etc, etc, etc.
You're partially correct. A lot of us used to enjoy warcraft 3, counter strike, Odin sphere and GTA. Then we grew up and got careers, houses and families. Time is now a precious commodity. I'm guessing that a large portion of the Wii market falls has more in common with me than you.
In most areas, it's no longer cost efficient to put a second or third child in day care. You'll actually save money by having one parent (assuming there are two) stay at home.
"Humanity" does not think. Humans by definition are individuals and they are incapable of that sort of thought process. You can get a group of people who agree on a topic, but there is no such thing as a universal consensus.

I have a group that plays using 'proxies'. We use Magic Suitcase to generate starter and booster packs. It's a bit of a pain since you have to cut all the cards, but it's worth investing a bit of time. One person generates cards and prints them out and everyone gets to see what the other people got. It keeps the system fair.
I actually agree with your last statement, but the rest of your post makes you a walking hypocrite. You state that you'd like to kill him and everyone that follows the same beliefs and then you go on to scold him for enjoying the deaths of others. I too wish that more religious groups could find tolerance for people that hold different beliefs. In the mean time, I doubt wishing for their deaths will improve their outlook.
1. The Wii and the PS3 are simply not comparable products
You're right. One is fun and the other is over priced.
2. the sales history for them is irrelevant.
You're a troll. Sony got cocky and Nintendo is kicking their ass for losing sight of the consumers demands.
3. For someone like myself who has a nice 46" LCD... $2000 television.
Your LCD looks like shit compared to my 43" Pioneer Elite. I love watching DiscoveryHD and various other channels. I do not however, need it for gaming. I have a PC that is more than capable and it cost less than a PS3.
4. The PS3 is targeted towards people who have higher end setups and are in a higher income bracket than yourself.
I make a pretty decent wage. That doesn't change the fact that I, unlike you, do not gravitate towards 'shiny' things. Money does not determine a persons worth and it certainly will not make them happy.
"Stopping the abuse before it starts is a much better solution."
Agreed, except the cameras should also point inwards. Lower crime rate = less police = less potential abuse. I'm certainly not advocating abuse or saying that we shouldn't be allowed to tape police officers. I'm simply saying that we should be focusing on the criminals first.
a) Credit is only debt if you do not pay the bill.
b) Home prices have shown steady growth in most regions. The only places that will be susceptible to the 'bubble' are CA, Phoenix, etc. I still doubt that there will be a pop though. Something like a cooling off is more likely.
c) Why would you WANT a housing crash and high interest rates? It's like wishing for your neighbors house to go up in flames and expect that yours will be untouched.
1. Bioshock doesn't have online play.
2. The average consumer doesn't know just how bad this is.

Pretty sure that it's just a wishful thinking from a PS3 fanboy. A quick search on IGN shows nothing for the PS3.

I used to work in a pretty bad area where the $5 crack whores would flag down the truckers. *shudders*
Saying Voledemort brought catchers, not death eaters.
I'm really glad that I'm half way done with it or I'd be a little irritated.

The Zune and Sansa are advertised like crazy around certain college campuses.
Overlord has been released on the PC.
Please don't give Valve any ideas! I really would like to get Episode 2 before the end of the decade.
If you want the card pictures, you'll have to search around a bit. I've listed some instructions that I wrote up a while back.

I doubt I'd be all that pleased. To me, it would seem that I payed $100 too much since they're dropping the price so soon after launch.

Most stores have a price match guarantee. I'm pretty sure Best Buy will refund you the difference if the sale is within a week or two.

I bought a Wii and a DS:Lite on a whim, but $500 is simply too much. I'll consider it when it is around $300.
Yup, the lawyers end up with a huge chunk of cash and we get a 50 cent off coupon for our next CD purchase. Sounds about right.

Police are not everywhere and can not (thankfully) watch everyone. If the crime rate goes down, we require less police officers.
