In my opinion, i'd prefer to die from the nuclear blast than from starvation 30 days later because there would be no rescue coming after a nuclear explosion...

Hurray! or not, from now on, i got a free DVD drive that isn't doing anything in my computer... All because i had to buy a second drive because of my Warcraft 3 CD taking a drive permanently over the years, and i didn't want to bother switching the CDs around so many times to always put back the same CD...
Anyone want to buy a cheap DVD reader? only spinned a couple thousand times to check if my Warcraft 3 CD was inside when i start the game...

That would be the first of it's kind in American gaming! Everyone is scared shitless of doing it because they're scared no one will sell the game... Everyone knows Duke, demographics shows that most of the gamers can buy adult games without any problem, all they need is to release that legendary game and show the reality that we don't mind naked chicks, we like naked chicks, we want naked chicks, we're tired of almost-but-not-naked-enough-chicks from the "M" games! We want real Adult games, not the kiddie stuff!

Or would it be worse for their superiors? -"hey don't push me boss, this package is for tomorrow" -"can't talk to you boss, this leaves in 2 minutes!" -"i'm not on a break, i'm following the instructions in putting this package together!"
"The episodes are available (with French subtitles) starting from 2.99 euros each, or by packs of two (4.99 euros) or three episodes (5.99 euros)" that's pretty expensive for an episode... considering that it's either streamed or rented only... at least i'd expect it to be legally sold to you for such a price...
i'd still download it for that price... i'd pay a buck for the "priviledge" of viewing it once... but not 3 bucks (more since it's in euro) to view it once...
Worse, how can it tells the difference between a certain song and that song you recorded with your friends and put it on your portable player so that your friends can hear the results?
The MMORPG and the RPG genre are completely different, one is for socialising with people in a vast world with only a backstory guiding them while the other is more oriented to dicovering a story by yourself....
So we're basically paying for patches... Well content patches... are we going to play a MMO? nope... Are we paying for the servers? nope... We're supposed to pay for a promise of more content... and that could be a lot of horse armor...
I live in Canada and I leaned the metric system while i was young...
When I got my first job, I had a hard time, everything was in inches, feets, and pounds... Any industry that has even a slim chance of selling anything to the United States needs to put the Imperial system otherwise they'll simply won't have a chance of selling their products to them.
So I had to learn the Imperial system out of need... outside of the school system.. because of the fact that Americans are still not using the metic system...
I still have to think when I need to convert units all the time at my job... decimals with the imperial system sucks compared to centimeters... I'm not talking about acientific applications... We only plane wood boards... units are in inches... we measure with an electronic sliding gauge.... I need to look at the chart all the time to know if we're at the 1/16th of an inch mark or not... and how far from it because I only recently learned about it...
So now every PS3 gamer will have to download their 30gb game trough the Sony online service instead of buying a blue-ray disk with all that content that will cost less than what bandwith cost these days....
All hails Blue-Ray! All hails online downloads! All hails my 8$ a gig extra! All hails that 240$ demo! hum.. yeah...
Maybe because so many people wanted to revive aeris (with so many rumors of ways to do it) and still couldn't compared to someone that you can fairly easily "revive" in the storyline and that there isn't a cult following of people who wants to revive him?
Killing Aeris was unexpected and heartbreaking... Killing Chrono and replacing with a doll later on made lots of people forget he even "died" in the story...
If the government make you pay much more money because you have a Hummer instead of a small Echo, it'll save you LOTS of money when you'll see the difference of how much it costs to fill your gas tank and how often you need to...
There you'll see that there is a difference in costs....

So i'd guess that to save bandwith, Microsoft prefer to choose the bad reputation of worms more than the bad reputation of Torrents?
Because using bittorent to send the updates, they could save quite a lot of bandwith, just like Blizzard does with 10 million suscribers...
But, off course, they must prefer doing things behind our backs than being legit and let us choose if we want to update or not...
