...Will not end well for Facebook. I can say with a degree of certainty that most FB users have not said "You know... I wish I had a phone that was like Facebook. One that can expose all my secrets and intimate moments for all the world to see without my consent! I never liked privacy anyways!"
That maybe nice for you. For me: It was stupid to charge $16 a month for both streaming and DVDs when I can get the same at Blockbuster for $9. That and Blockbuster rents games.
That is not what caused me to leave, however. What caused me to leave is the fact most of the "Selection" from streaming was extremely small and shrank suddenly. My favorite show I wanted to see, Penn and Teller: Bullshit!, suddenly disappeared... Along with other shows and movies I wanted to see. No explanation. No "Here is what is going. Here is what we are keeping.". Just "Fuck you. We will do what we want when we want. You are our slave and will pay your $16 and like it!" So, in turn I said "Fuck you. I'll go to Redbox and Hulu. At least Hulu has ReGenesis, Davinci's Inquest, Penn and Teller, and a whole slew of things I want to see. If you think HD matters to me, the joke is on you. I watch TV over rabbit ears. Hasn't bothered me yet!".
This argument that they "had" to increase prices because of the demands of the movie studios is pointless. If there was any validity to that statement, then only the prices of streaming would go up. Not "Divide streaming and DVDs but make both the identical price" deal.
I think Ron Paul suffers delusions of grandeur since he has not the first clue what the average person goes through. That and he is silly enough to believe he has a chance to run for president, much less win it. Ever. I do got to admit though I laugh every time he speaks, so at least I get something out of it!
If any one of these candidates want to fix the Student Loan program, they need to set it up so that people pay on the principle not the interest. Also, allow people who default to have it expunged via bankruptcy or after 10 years like every other loan. This whole "Default == Garnishment for the rest of your life" is just another way of saying "You want an education? Borrow money from us! Whether you pay it back directly or default due to reasons out of your control, it doesn't matter: We Own You Forever!"
That pretty much sums up what I think of jfruhlinger's post.
First and very foremost: It is not Post-PC yet. Businesses, schools, etc. aren't replacing their Desktops for Ipads and what not.
Second: Ipads and ultra-thin laptops are not at the same computing power that PCs and IMacs. Most people would want a Core i3 or 6-core AMD Phenom 2 beast to play games or develop on versus single core 1-ghz Droid cells.
Finally: Stores like Newegg and Tiger Direct will always be around in some capacity. How they would change is anybody's guess but so far they are doing quite well doing what they are doing.
The fact that Netflix is pretty much saying "LOL No, fuck you!" to all the outrage from its users about the increase. It has offered no apology or rational explanation for the spike other than the vague reasons it gives.
If this price increase doesn't hurt Netflix more than it helps, nothing will.
Also, I wonder what kind of anti-psychotic is being prescribed? Some drugs, like Cymbalta, treat Fibromyalgia and are anti-depressants too. So, does that suddenly make all people taking an anti-depressant for treatment of Fibromyalgia depressed sods? No, it means the drug being taken is being used for another legitimate purpose.
Professional House Busters, that is!
Complete with Bubba's Colonoscopy.
Don't ask how or what he uses to perform these "checks".
No good. They removed the image.

Even after reading all the info I still got one question:
Who in their right mind is going to put a teeming horde of bees inside their home or apartment?
Hence why I believe in the John Kramer school of thought. Make them decide between spamming or their lives and see which one wins out!

What do I think?

This will be like his career:
One hit and that is it.
...and here we are worried about Iran getting nukes...
I am sure Preparation H won't help in this case...
They also said the Internet was made for their God's "purpose".
My advice is simple: Ignore them. They are a church of Trolls that will Darwin out if the press ignores them.
No wonder I felt a disturbance in the Force...
What could possibly go wrong?
...Add to that FF13-2...
You'd think they'd learn by now...

Like magnets and how they work.
...you constructed. The ability to post porn and graphic gore porn images is insignificant next to the power of 4Chan!
I don't care. I want.
A fool and his money is soon parted.
This would be the MPAA and RIAA's wet dream if somebody got their hands on it!
Millions and billions of songs and movies... Wouldn't matter one iota if they all were legal: That person would be sued out of existence!
That would be what I'd do if I got my hands on Chell IRL...I'll spare you all the NSFW comments and ideas.
If an US Citizen can't use Google, then I have seriously and erroneously overestimated how smart the US really is...

They are really expensive.
