These diesel fumes are not what they used to be and there are ways to address the reminder to the point of not having a problem with it too. But diesel is evil which means that while we are waiting for affordable and feasible electric (or whatever - who said we HAVE TO use electric only - there are other ways we can explore) go to gasoline and gasoline hybrids. So we live with old diesel engines already around, remove the new cleaner ones from the picture and use ore of less efficient gasoline based ICE? Sounds like a reasonable thing to do.

He used soe strong one but I do not think that would have made any difference. I felt terrible. I though I'd collapse. I did not drink my beer and went home. That effect was because I do not smoke. Whether inhaling nicotine vapours has an effect on body? Yes of course it does it is a fucking poison. yet I also heard from my physician that small amounts of N. correlate with lower levels of dementia. Now there does not have to be a connection but it may be.

This I have to agree. We have moved trough a series of applications to chat, share etc and each one was different but as soon as we moved to skype we noticed the communication was shit. Speech was shitty before esp. if you had bad vlan connection but that I expected. I have quite good connection and I was surprised that skype still indicated bad one. The quality of speech was as expected in such situation. The slow and the ugly is also not switching fast enough between tabs which results in sometimes funny situations - good that I am known from loose language and strange sense of humour here or else there would be trouble I am sure. We are obsolete already. There is no such entity that grants us a reason we are. In fact we are there because apparently more complex structures tend to have bigger survival rate as species than simpler ones. This has a limit I suppose. Maybe AI is the limit. Ultimately the question whether we survive can be answered not by AIs that have mercy (or not) but by looking at our economy which is a basic structure of our societies without which we cannot survive. So at the end we (all humans and AIs) may have a problem what to with lots of bored and frustrated humans. This will resolve itself after a while. May be painful to the resolved but life in whatever form necessary and possible will continue. Not here then elsewhere. The only reason we are upset about this all is that this is happening in our or our kids' lifetimes. This is no different from any other human societies of the past and species of the past. The immediate pain and ultimate peace when one is able to perceive reality at its broadest level.

It is the same with politics at some point nobody is believing shit and choosing the team based on on color of their carriages (as it were in Roman empire). There was measurable change in temperature caused by stop on flying over US back then. This means that the normal operation has a measuerable impact too. In this particular case it the effect of comtrails is cooling. What I wanted to say the effects are plenty and not always consistent with expectation and the local weather being a result of global climate is difficult to predict even few days in advance. Too complex for our silly AIs. We make progress but it is not as good as to show much. We just know that changes are there. Yet one side claims it knows it all and tries to sell us some (hardly working but surely expensive) solutions and the other sells business a usual claiming no change is caused by 7.5b humans. I'd say we shall work on some version of Zika as humans all over the globe esp. in Africa and Middle East are not going to give up their procreation habits just because we say so and the biggest effect so far had one protective measure that was not even aimed at climate - one child policy of Chinese commies. Alternatively we shall prepare for increasing sea levels as this seems to be really happening. With more and more people living at the sea shores this is bound to cause massive trouble. It is in any case better than discuss things that nobody is believing anymore. Another thing pointing to failure of free people to act together - if you look at Haiti and DomRep you will see that protective policies of Papa Doc actually saved lives and still do every time hurricane strikes - more people dies on one side of the island due to mad slides and flooding than on the other. the roads are most of the time paid by taxes. These taxes are usually taken with the fuel sales. There are ways to get this done with electrical vehicles. It has to be done.
