It won't happen, as far as I'm aware there's not even anyone running against Obama in the primaries. While I'm sure that someone is (I am pretty certain someone always does run against incumbent presidents) the fact that I haven't heard even as a relatively aware voter means they aint got a shot.
Best hope is Ron Paul, he is the only candidate to appeal to disillusioned democrats. We aint voting for Romney or Santorum.
I'd agree with this.
I have a budget. I bought probably 1 game a month or so (averaged over the year) at full price, preordered etc (and also blew $150 on the collectors edition of SWTOR). I've also pirated probably about the same amount. My budget is lower than my ability/desire to consume entertainment. Every now and then I'll pirate a game (KotOR, Arkham Asylum) and love it enough to buy the sequel other times (Spiderman Shattered Dimensions, Force Unleashed) I won't.
Any game that can provide me with at least 1 hour of entertainment per dollar though I feel is a justified purchase.
When it comes down to it, the average people are the same all over the world - they'll pay lip service to appear to be doing what the are supposed to do, but if no one notices, then they'll just do what they want to do.
Those aren't really the people we're concerned with.
It's not exactly far-fetched to say the story was based on an actual city that sank into the sea (*cough* Akrotiri *cough*). After all, modern story-tellers use historical events to make political points all the damn time.
I make $30,000 and pay something like 5-6000 in income tax, another 2,000 in property tax and then I get to throw in the costs of gas tax and sales tax. You can't lump the 20-30k people in with the 0-20k who don't pay shit without totally throwing off the averages.
I'd love to see THIS law put to a direct vote. Of course it won't be, and Bloomberg will probably get booted out next opportunity, but the cameras would of course still stay.
Homely? She may not have been the usual supermodel actress but she certainly wasn't homely. I thought she was a good choice for Chess. An everyday woman.

You obviously don't work full shifts outdoors.
I disagree. It is not WoW with lightsabers. It is Everquest 2 with lightsabers.
Clearly this could be stopped by killing all the butterflies in China.
It was actually Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Wait, he won inventor of the year in 1999 for something he invented in 1985?
What incentive does the pharmacy have to sign these deals?
Who the hell is going to a pharmaceutical company's facebook page?
Wal-Mart gets away with it.
When the US isn't divulging that information to the public, it is an issue yes.
Not when you add back in the incredibly long hours. And a barracks isn't the same as an apartment or house.

This is like the 4th time this story has been on slashdot.
When you hold a map up in front of your face, north is physically above south.
Find one nation in the world that didn't do that sort of shit

Also the fact that Charles II decided to end the Dutch's golden age when he came into power.

Claymores have "Face Toward Enemy" written on them. Nothing would surprise me.
New Jersey is within 15 feet either way of the stop line/sign

Only in DC, Eastern Shore and Norfolk. There's a big chunk of Virginia that sees snow quite often.
I was actually in a parked car when it happened and it was swaying like someone was on the outside rocking it gently on its suspension.
