    My bank already does this. Except instead of one time numbers I have credit card number which I can load with enough money to just buy something and then unload it so no one can take money from it without my consent. Sms verification is very convenient, it's like tokens, but you don't have to remember where you have put your token keyring last time.

    New medicament is starting. Those who are too ill won't have benefit. It IS normal that there are some people which will not get benefit of something because it is too late for them. For not being in such a situation, all ill should be transported in time machine to future, where their illness is treatable.

    I would also add: Why is prioritising helping poor people a bad thing AFTER you have much cash? If he was poor too, would it be better? If he is rich, it is now easier for him to help poor and he has better posiibilities for helping them.

    My pages WILL have them, if it's easier to make render them correctly than custom hacking. I may not like IE8 but my clients will use it and they will require that my pages work ok on ie(6|7|8), firefox and opera.

    So tell me, why there are no more ISP? Maybe it's hard to compete with those prices? What stops you from making your own ISP and starting to provide internet for your customers? I think they would be really happy to at last get those $20/mo 100mbit pipes.

    It IS as easily parallelizable, just not so much optimizable. Radiosity in current form requires sometimes 100 radiosity rays per one primary ray. For primary rays there are algorithms which can remove about 90% computations due to coherence (you shoot "bundles" of rays). But radiosity IS parallelizable, because you can make calculations for each primary ray on other processor.

    Have you checked povray? It gives very good efects in hours (some raster images render in hours too).

    This, this and this are fairly realistic. Those are only examples from povray hall of fame, there are better raytracers.

    It's more trucking sand with 16 cars instead of one. Now try to truck one big rock with 16 cars. Some things aren't easily parallelizable (tough word). Also some processes don't look good when making car methaphore.

    Oops, I forgot sarcasm tag. I was sarcastic. The whole thing is a war-race, spammers try to outsmart google and google tries to fight back. For now spam is winning, but this doesn't mean that google is fundamentally broken.

    Yeah, I big headphones from Thompson (or thompsonic or something like this, can't find it now) for 20$. For me they sound almost like one for 200$ (tested in one shop). But i'm talking about earbuds like this one.

    Have you ever listened to ipod on a GOOD speakerphones? If you have standard iphone phones, you can't even start whining about how bad mp3 sounds, because difference between thosa and better speakerphones for about 50$ is much higher than between mp3 and cd.
