Out of the $35,000 I made before getting laid off I should have a surplus of $17,000 a year. $5,000 for room and board and $12,000 for health insurance. Heck, why work more than 1 year on and one year off? But in the richest nation and self professed best and coolest nation in the world, the US still has people living on the street? Impressive attitude asshole.

In any case, I will still walk away from my position with $35 million. Win-win for me, the company and my country. Good luck with buying your political candidate $1,500 at a time.

They believe the 2nd Amendment and guns trump any and every right in the world. And they have itchy trigger fingers now hoping Obama gets reelected so they can have their new "American Revolution", wear powdered wigs and march down the streets with a fife and bugle corp. And the US Constitution is theirs and anyone who isn't a tea party supported should be deported and/or executed. But this is just what they tell me 1st hand. I suppose they could be lying.

Oh, and this Revolution will be bigger, bloodier and more cleansing than the 1st one. Heaven forbid you are a non-white, non-christian, and a non-conservative.

Interview much lately? I've walked out of 2 interviews in the last 6 months. I'd say the people doing the hiring are smarter than the box of rocks I have out back, but just barely. Interview Walkout #1) Obviously a college degree and at least 3 years experience is highly desirable for a part time janitorial job???? All for $8.50 an hour/20 hours a week. Walkout #2) Obviously the 2 people interviewing me for a tech position needed to be text messaging throughout the 15 minutes I stuck around in the interview. Maybe the constant, "I missed that. Can you repeat what you said" was just part of the interview test? Yes, we need more qualified people but certainly not in the candidate field but in the hiring field.

The 6-12 hour delay I'm talking about is while said farmer is throwing down in the fields getting the hard work done. Just curious as to how "instantaneous" information would make much of a difference.

After the 1st year I managed to pay off that expensive gov loan at a high cost to me and get out of that system. The next system was a massive downsizing of my food budget, fun budget and putting off lots of things I would have like to buy and do in my life. I was making a $35K salary and my daughter worked 15-20 hours a week. 2 years after she graduated from the university, we were both "college expenses" debt free. It was not a pleasant 4 -6 years of my life but I have recovered financially. If I had continued down that Government Loan slippery slope I suspect I'd still be paying off the loans 8 years later. Yeah, I helped my daughter a lot so she would be debt free upon graduation (or there abouts) but I certainly wasn't and still am not a rich man. My point is, the gov loan program was some of the most expensive money I've ever taken. Yes there was government aid in this whole experience...many, many scholarships and grants were applied for and some were awarded.
