    I'm British and got fingerprinted going into the US a couple of years ago. I'm going to Japan in a couple of weeks. To be honest, I'm more woried about what the US goverment will do with my fingerprints than the Japanese/Outsourcers.

    It's obvious that perl is best suited to some tasks over others. So is just about any language. The reason you can't use it in most cases is because it's harder to find developers to support it after you disappear than say Java or C#. That's why I won't be writing our new trade routing system in D.

    Of course. For some reason these people have a concrete rule in their head that says:

    one copy = one lost sale

    I don't know where this logic comes from...
