Pandora Console Ready For Pre-Orders
Croakyvoice writes "Finally, months after the official announcement, 3,000 lucky people can now pre-order Pandora, possibly the world's fastest handheld console. It boasts a processor capable of up to 900 MHZ, PowerVR 3D graphics, a large 800x480 LCD touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, dual SD card slots, TV out, dual analogue and digital controls, a clamshell DS Lite-style shape, and a 43-button mini keyboard. ScummVM 0.12.0 Released — Support For New Games, Wiimote

This release sees support for 5 new games — The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Two: Hand of Fate, The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Three: Malcolm's Revenge, Lost in Time, The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble and Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back. The new version officially supports, for the first time, the Gamecube and the Wii, and also the ability to use the Wiimote as a controller. The binaries and the source code are both available." -
Gamepark Holdings Officially Announces the WIZ Handheld

Wads Include Duke Nukem GP, Half Life, Star Wars, Goldeneye, Quake 2 and Star Trek. They come on 2 CDS." Registration is required for downloading anything, but if you're low on Megawads this seems like one-stop shopping. -

Sony Announces Skype For PSP, Homebrewers Respond
Croakyvoice writes "Sony has finally officially announced that Skype is coming soon to the PSP. The VoIP service is slated to hit the company's handheld at the end of January. The application will be available via a firmware update and is only compatible with PSP Slim & Lite Consoles. After the announcement the PSP homebrew scene released a new application called Furikup which will allow you to make phone calls with your PSP and is compatible with the original phat PSPs." -

Lik Sang on a PSP TV Adapter
PSP News writes "The people over at Lik Sang have done a great hands on review of the new no Modification PSP TV Device by Blaze. The main differences between this and the Team Xtender adapter is less than half the price and the Pal-Ntsc switch while quality is as good if not better at different display settings. From the article: 'Compared to the previous TV Adapter that we had in our hands a couple of months back, the display result you get varies from as good (16:9 ratio wide screens) to better (on 4:3 ratio) depending on the type of television set you use the devices with.'" -
Sega to Release New Dreamcast Bundle?

According to Many Dreamcast sites it will be bundled with a new commercial game and released sometime in February. Engadget has commentary and speculation." From the Engadget site: "... German gaming site Gamefront.de is claiming they're going to be re-releasing the frickin' Dreamcast bundled with Radilgy and some limited edition telephone card or something. But our wish come true from the Ghost of Hackable Consoles Past will probably be Japan-only though, distributed through Sega Direct for ¥10,000 (about $83 US) -- still, could this be the triumphant return of Sega hardware, even if only just nostalgia-gear?" -
