Soylent Green for the vegan crowd
The most disgusting thing I have eaten recently is the "beyond meaty" burger at our local chain. As gross as eating raw meat and a repulsive as eating something that has been processed and reprocesses. Like eating vegan " pink slime " http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/he...

Re:25% Failure is HIDEOUS!!!
Can you imagine fast-food with a 25% failure rate? One out of four Big Macs got food poisoning. One out of four Wendy's Chilis got a finger in it.
NOT acceptable (in Trump's America).
Man, I just ate dinner!
But you're exactly correct.

Re:Would that include fake news
Take out California, and Hillary lost the popular election too.
Even distribute the people of California throughout the country, and Hillary wins a dozen more states AND the popular vote.
Take out Texas, and Hillary wins the popular vote and the electoral college.
But seriously, why you suggest doing something STUPID like that?
At least the people pointing out that moving *three* counties in certain states are making a point about the arbitrary nature of the electoral college. You're just trying to flap your gums and saying something that lets you praise Trump.
Republican vote is suppressed in California in national elections because there is no point.
Oh no, with a turnout under 60% nationwide!
In any event, Trump won the votes that mattered.
And yet we're talking about something else. The thing the above poster went on about. Go read it.
Funny how, prior to the election - when it was thought that Trump might lose the Electoral College but "win" the popular vote, Democrats were all about respecting the outcome, but when the opposite happened, they think it suddenly de-legitimizes Trump.
No, they were about respecting the integrity of the election process since Trump was probably crazy enough to start a revolution, he called for that before.
But sorry, the people opposed to the electoral college are on RECORD before the recent election, making it pointless to try to claim hypocrisy. Not to mention the House malapportionment, the gerrymandering, and more.
Now I could wish Hillary showed some interest in that, but whatever, she's totally ignored it for decades already.
It will be *really* interesting to see what the Voting Commission turns up.
A lot of people think there has been a dramatic and intentional under counting of the numbers of foreign nationals illegally voting in Presidential elections.
Sure man, and the Republican Governors, Secretaries of State, Attorneys General, Legislators and Elections Clerks have completely missed it. And all of the elections are completely invalid. Good luck with that one.

Re:No, it's corrupt
I'm coming to the realization that the Democrats are actually corrupt(*).
I was reading about the DOJ slush fund [breitbart.com](**) and it struck me just how deep and insidious the corruption has been in this country.
Why not Teapot Dome, Credit Mobiler, Iran-Contra, Enron, and Bernie Madoff?
This is paired with the IRS selecting conservative charities for intense scrutiny
And liberal ones. Who both needed to file proper reports to meet their non-profit status.
Even Congress had to admit it was all proper in the end.
11 California counties have more registered voters than adults
You can't blame California for Steve Mnuchin, Tiffany Trump, Jared Kushner, and Steven Bannon, who nonetheless, remind us, it's not a crime. Despite false claims otherwise.
And let us not forget after the election, leftists pleaded with the EC delegates to be faithless,
I pleased with the EC delegates to quit myself, it might be the only thing that gets us past that broken system.
then pleaded with the supreme court to invalidate the results,
No, the Supreme Court acted in 2000, unlawfully overriding state courts for their own partisan gain.
then pleaded with the U.S. military to step in and prevent the inauguration (wtf?),
Like those massive crowds of people that Trump (falsely) claimed were there, huh?
leaked secret and sensitive information - not to expose crimes, but for political slander,
Oh wait, you mean when they leaked Trump's fake pictures of Time Magazine covers, right?
and rioted for weeks
No, that was Chicago celebrating winning the World Series.
For example, Hillary made no statements condemning the riots,
Also she didn't condemn the sugar plum fairy.
and most of the left blamed the rioting on Trump.
blocking reasonable voter registration,
and suppressing the military vote.
There's a sub-conversation on the net that holds that the Democratic party *won't survive* once all the corruption has been rooted out.
Sure man, and what else are they discussing? Why they can't find the dead bodies in the Pizza Parlor?
The Democratic ideals are so far from what people want that they require all the extra boost they get from a tilted playing field.
Is that why they keep getting more voters?
I'm not sure I believe that bit about the Democratic party not surviving, but after reading about the DOJ thing, and knowing the level of effort we're putting into the Russia probe while ignoring some seemingly obvious evidence [dailysignal.com] on the Democratic side, it makes me wonder...
Actually, the Republicans in Congress are still busy chasing their tails over Hillary.

Re: Unions and you
Are they voted in by a majority of the workers or a majority of those who decided to vote? I know unions push for majority of the votes, but that doesn't represent the workers. No vote should = no union.
Oh? So you support this rule in politics as well? There's actually a lawsuit now.
Maybe I think that no vote=no count. I know that management pushes for a manipulated system, but they don't represent the workers.
But hey, we could mandate participation, or even a minimum participation.
Also, if you transfer to a different company doing the exact same job does the seniority ladder start again or does it transfer? Many industries you restart the ladder, effectively meaning no one has any mobility (see airlines).
You can certainly advocate for such rules, if you wish. Of course, management hates that kind of thing, so you may find opposition elsewhere.

Re:Does this keep the beach property looking nice
http://abcnews.go.com/US/story...
Minerals Management Service, an office of the U.S. Department of the Interior, will have the final say probably in early 2008, Gordon said. If approved at the federal level -- the wind farm's footprint would lie within the federal waters of Nantucket Sound -- Gordon would aim for completion in 2010.
But another obstacle is a political heavyweight with a famous name, a local Cape Cod address and hardline opposition to the project.
U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy's primary residence is in Hyannisport, Mass., on the Kennedy family compound. It's one of the closest landfalls -- about 6 miles -- from the proposed site of the 440-feet turbines, which would be visible from his house as well as other surrounding coastlines.
Since 2001, there have been various legislative attempts to quash the project in Washington, many of which could be tied one way or another to the Democratic Bay State senator.
Former Massachusetts governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney shared Kennedy's disdain for the project.
--------
It was the whole family, too apparently...https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2005/12/16/172275/-
In today's NY Times, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., writes a passionate OpEd arguing that a wind farm should not be built off Nantucket. But there's one annoying little fact he doesn't mention for some reason...
RFK Jr. opens strong: "AS an environmentalist, I support wind power, including wind power on the high seas. I am also involved in siting wind farms in appropriate landscapes, of which there are many. But I do believe that some places should be off limits to any sort of industrial development. I wouldn't build a wind farm in Yosemite National Park. Nor would I build one on Nantucket Sound, which is exactly what the company Energy Management is trying to do with its Cape Wind project."
He then cites many reasons (and several liberal bugaboos) supporting his position. Energy companies would be privatizing common land. Offshore wind power costs much more than gas-fired and onshore wind-created electricity. Nantucket Sound is clogged with traffic, making the windmills terrible obstacles. They will also cause considerable job loss and economic costs (for reasons that aren't spelled out). They will endanger seabirds. The cables running from and between the towers will foul fishing gear, hurting fisherman. He notes the beauty of the place and, naturally, the fact that JFK authorized the creation of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Finally, if invoking JFK is not enough, he writes: "All of us need periodically to experience wilderness to renew our spirits and reconnect ourselves to the common history of our nation, humanity and to God," which means a vote for windmills is a vote against God.
But is this the whole story? No. RFK Jr. gets close to it when he notes: "Cape Wind's proposal involves construction of 130 giant turbines whose windmill arms will reach 417 feet above the water and be visible for up to 26 miles. These turbines are less than six miles from shore and would be seen from Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket... According to the Massachusetts Historical Commission, the project will damage the views from 16 historic sites and lighthouses on the cape and nearby islands."
And he hints at the story behind the story with his suggested solution: "If Cape Wind were to place its project further offshore..." but he doesn't go all the way. So I will.
The real reason RFK Jr. and his fellow gilded islanders, such as David McCullough, are against the wind farm and have hired publicists and lawyers to stop it for years, is because the thing would ruin their own precious views. This is a case of NIMBY pure and simple by the people who should know better.

Be careful with those Nokia phones, especially the candy bar variant. Even when the phone is locked, you can dial 999, 911, 112, whatever. But that makes it trivial to pocket dial/butt dial emergency services. IIRC, there was a story about 10 years back about a pair of criminals that were caught because their phone dialled emergency services during a robbery. Can't find that one, so I'll leave this one about some would-be burglars in California instead.
Here we are - couple of guys knocked over a Target, but were completely betrayed by their phone.
One last interesting one: guy dialled emergency services while committing grand theft auto. Not once, but FOUR times on himself. -

Re: The New Formula
Well, maybe things got off to a bad start with the Iranian Islamists taking the US embassy staff hostages, Iran declaring the US to be an enemy they are at war with, continuing to hold rallies to this day where "Death to America!" is chanted, referring to the US as "the Great Satan," spreading terrorism throughout the world, continually uttering barely veiled threats of genocide, and working to arm themselves with nuclear weapons. Well, live and learn.
I'm curious, have you, on a personal note, spoken to any Iranian homosexuals? Oh, that's right, you can't. They don't exist.
Iran vs. Its People: Abuses Against Religious Minorities
The authorities heavily suppressed the rights to freedom of expression, association, peaceful assembly and religious belief, arresting and imprisoning peaceful critics and others after grossly unfair trials before Revolutionary Courts. Torture and other ill-treatment of detainees remained common and widespread, and were committed with impunity. Floggings, amputations and other cruel punishments continued to be applied. Members of religious and ethnic minorities faced discrimination and persecution. Women and girls faced pervasive violence and discrimination. The authorities made extensive use of the death penalty, carrying out hundreds of executions, some in public. At least two juvenile offenders were executed.

Re:Thank goodness we have Trump now
he republicans are all talk to appear tough for the public
...Someone not paying attention to the senate or house recently. Yep sure looks like it.
Hillary and Obama did not threaten the start of WW3 as much as they threatened to stop Putin's theft from Russia
So let's go with that. You wonder why the Russian government seriously believed that if Hillary was elected that there would be a war. Would you perhaps like to claim that the inquisitr is a right-wing publication to save face before you find out that it's a left-wing publication.
THAT is why Putin was so desperate that he worked to get Trump elected
...Yes, he worked so hard that we have no proof that they were involved. Or that the DNC email leaks show the exact opposite of what you're trying to say, like the fact that Hillary was acting as a front in a cash-for-access program using the clinton foundation to the state department. Would you like to now claim ABC News is right-wing? Or perhaps the washington post which also reported on it.
Remember that part where the previous administration claimed that Russia was behind the DNC leaks, but there's no actual proof because the FBI never had access to actually investigate it. That Comey said that in itself was a "odd occurrence" and in turn there is no positive proof because of that. Remember that part where the founder of wikileaks came out and stated that Russia wasn't the source. The same wikileaks that the left cheered on for leaks under Bush and were quite happy when the information was supporting their side. Shall we continue?
-
Re: Blaming Obama?
Oh here we are. Are you the pro-russian troll, or the teabagger obsessed with the Clintons? It has become so hard to tell these days.
See that ID? Yeah. So what are you? A paid shareblue poster trying to cover up for the Clintons. Maybe you can explain why when Clinton lost the election that the international arm of the clinton foundation shut down almost right away as the donation stream abruptly stopped. Would you like to explain why when people wanted to talk with the Obama administration they'd be stonewalled, then suddenly when they made large contributions to it they had access. And they used it to directly gain access to special favors at the state department.
Why talk about the topic at hand when we can talk about a completely different topic?
Maybe you should ask the parent poster.
It's getting old and us moderates are tired of the idiots on both sides. Before you go there (I know you will), no, I ddidnt vote for the candidate you likely call Killary.
If you're an actual moderate, then you wouldn't be lashing out when someone points out that she was the worse candidate and likely the one that would have caused another world war. You were the one who said that not me.

Re: Leftists will bash Trump for this
Explain how a Jr, Senator of the minority party caused a shut-down.
In this case, the procedural process called unanimous consent. Not to mention their own words and testimony. THEY CLAIMED THEY WANTED TO DO IT. And then they did it.
Answer he didn't, neither did Utah's Mike Lee. In fact the actual blame for the shut-down if it can be assigned to any one person would be to Sen Harry Reid (D), the Senate Majority leader at the time.
Nope! He wanted to pass a bill to continue spending. But not the reckless, insane, moronic, House version.
And they wouldn't back down.
He refused to let any house budget bill he didn't like even be debated. Yes the House's first budget, demanding total recall of the ACA was too extreme. But that's negotiating, you start out asking for everything knowing that you'll compromise.
Nope, that's insanity. You start out with an extreme position, you put the other person in a position where they think less of you, since you're so outrageous. Then when they say no, and you redouble your efforts, as the House, actually did, twice, you convince them that you're further beyond the pale.
Real negotiations recognize the perils of such demands as you make, as you convince the other side that you are crazy.
The House then did compromise, passing multiple replacement budgets gradually diminishing their demands, Reid refused to let any of them be debated let alone voted on. He forced the shutdown and maintained it until the house leadership caved in.
Nope. The House multiple times, kept adding back in their demands, and even increased them. The Republicans in the House, even REFUSED to let anyone other than the Majority Leader in the House, Eric Canton(or someone Cantor said was his designee), offer a compromise. They changed the rules specifically to prevent any other group from coming together.
Cruz and Lee had NOTHING to do with any of that process. They had zero say in any of the Budget bills passed by the House, and zero say in what Reid let onto the floor of the Senate for debate.
Well, that means you're calling Cruz and Lee liars. Which I admit, they are, but they did claim they were responsible for the shut-down, that it was their purpose and intent. They weren't lying about that.
And they weren't the only ones.
Sorry, but the GOP picked up the Shutdown gun, and waved it, in their attempts to force their demands on the rest of us.
Guess who the real cancer on efficiency is. it's not the Republicans.
Sorry, but your completely "alternative" facts, doesn't pass the whiff test.
Shutdowns are Cruz's bread and butter. Yet he avoids responsibility
I get it though, the GOP doesn't want to admit to its own faults, so you try to blame anybody else. You did it for Trumpcare. You did it for the Iraq Withdrawal. You did it for Newt Gingrich's adultery.
Look, I get it, you're used to tweeting whatever you want, and nobody questioning it, but just like the Muslim Ban, what you say matters, and not everybody has the attention span of a goldfish.

Re:This was the last option, not the first
Well, since you mentioned it
... Bundy ranch wasn't a riot. It was the Government vs Ranchers (regardless of your view of the subject). wasn't particularly violent.I called it violence, whatever you call it, you ignored it.
Because they're your sort of people, and you don't mind what they do.
Same with the militia violence.
And in that case, you missed Branch Davidian Compound that actually was.
Did you think my list was meant to be exhaustive? Hardly. I didn't mention the attacks by such fine entities as the Old Order, Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph or the Huttaree.
Malheur standoff (fixed spelling) was violent, but the only violence was caused by the government in an ambush.
Sure man, they weren't threatening violence and trespassing.
What else you going to say? They was good boys, never meaning no harm? But they keep showing their hands, and not their face on TV?
Good Example.
Driving away from police and waving a gun? Yeah, I'll call that violent.
Dylan Roof was a punk kid with a troubled background with mental illness who became (or always was) a racist prick. I didn't forget him, it was an odd case all the way around.
Racist gets a gun. Decides to shoot people. You blame his troubled background and dismiss it as an odd case. And no, I didn't say you forgot him. I said you ignored him. Ignoring and forgetting are two different things.
Benjamin McDowell didn't though.
You might as well pointed out the Dallas shooting then too.
Or the Houston one. No wait, that's police brutality. Another serious problem that you don't want to admit exists.
You want to ignore it, and frenetically rage at your preferred target, BLM. You love that form of identity politics, don't you?
Robert Doggart wasn't violent, because unlike San Bernadino, people reported him and he was arrested before he could do anything because he was suspicious.
Plots violence. Is on tape actually plotting violence. Archangel Michael claims he wasn't violent.
You should probably tell the judge who sentenced him to 20 years.
I say unlike, because people in SB saw suspicious activity and failed to report it for fearing to be "Islamophobic".
Pfft. Enrique Marquez Jr. was not going to report them, nor the other participants in that sham marriage. Nothing to do with fears about being Islamophobic at all. You might as well claim that Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez's family didn't report him because they didn't want to be thought Islamophobic.
Las Vegas Strip Shooting, a hispanic man shot two killing one. No motive had been determined for the shooting, although authorities ruled out any link to terrorism.
Nope, Jerad and Amanda Miller were not Hispanic(not even White Hispanic), and they killed 3 other people. And their motives were quite clearly demonstrated, what with their conduct, if the use of the Gadsen Flag wasn't enough for you.
Sorry, but they're right-wing through and through. And you identify with them. You just won't admit to it.
So, of the five events you listed, two or three are possibly "ri

You know what the difference between today and the 1980's were? That the attack in San Bernardino and Pulse Nightclub both could have been stopped. What happened?
Omar got reported, and yet the authorities ended up doing nothing.
But then, the same goes for others.
I suppose we could live in the Draconian Police State you want, but I suspect you'd hate that.
And how about more in the UK, with those girls raped and being sold as sex slaves(just a fyi it's happening in the US too).
Yes, yes, West Texas is full of it.
And the muslims trying to take over schools to turn them into extremist breeding grounds(see trojan horse scandal).
No, that's Christians.
Well what do you know? In those dozens of cases it was all the same thing too.
I think we've got a problem. You know what it is? People are too politically correct and afraid of being labeled racist/islamophobe/etc.
Nope, it's the other way around. People are obsessively racist, islamophobic, and otherwise unable to see the problems are all over.
So afraid that they'll turn a blind eye to people preparing to carry out a terrorist attack. Until that changes this isn't going to change either. We could, avoid the whole "implement internet agenda thing." The answer is in this paragraph. And you know as well as I do that the left has a very long history the last decade of going after people for daring to say "that muslim looks like they're going to blow people up."
Yeah, that's because you say it so much, then you attack some Sikhs.
After all, that's what happened in Rotterdam and why 1000+ girls were raped and used as sex toys after all....for over a decade.
Clean your own closet first.

You'll do nothing but scream and pout in a tantrum.
Apparently you are, not only that you're an idiot to boot. The "line that I'm pushing" is people are afraid of doing something and being labeled racist for doing it.
To make it very simple for you: They're willing to look the other way because of fear, and they're willing to look so hard in the other direction that people are dying because of it.
Yes, the FBI is unable to investigate right-wing terrorism because of that attitude.

Re:Who cares about bathrooms?
Why would I care then? Are you implying that transgender people are in some way dangerous to my child?
Have you no critical-thinking skills?
Chester the Molester does. He figures this will be a pretty sweet opportunity to go into the women's bathroom after your little girl goes in by just saying he identifies as female today.
Aw, are we trying critical thinking today?
- 1. Where is it legal for Chester to molest? If Chester were following any laws at, he'd avoid the biggest one first. This isn't an end-all argument, just used to judge impact vs consequences.
- 2. Almost all the people this law will affect are law abiding citizens. People too afraid to think just haven't noticed most of them before.
- 3. So, now you're creating a law that makes more people uncomfortable than there are right now, and tempting a whole lot of law-abiding citizens to break the law. (I think it's like speeding on the highway, I'd be for autobahn-style laws that actually make sense but I digress).
- 4. It makes me wonder why are normally anti-government-regulation types all of a sudden wanting over-regulation?
- 5. So I looked it up, and found that the idea that sexual predators benefitting from bathroom choice is a myth, and most of the victims of bathroom violence are actually the trans-gender people.

Re:Yeah
Maybe they should have put a bit more thought into approving building permits.
In some states they've legislated ignorance of sea level rise in order to appease developers.
"The mean sea level trend is 2.39 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence interval of +/- 0.43 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from 1931 to 1981 which is equivalent to a change of 0.78 feet in 100 years. "
The half a foot rise over that period can mean the difference between being just above sea level at high tide instead of just below. But the big problem is the acceleration that's taking place.
Since 1993 (the beginning of the satellite record) we've seen global mean sea level increasing by about 3 millimeters per year or about 1 foot in 100 years.
Over the second half of that period, global mean sea level rose by 3.8 mm/year or about 1 1/3 feet over a century. At this rate by 2050 we should expect about 6mm
/year or 2 feet per century. And by 2100, 10 mm/year or over 3 feet per century. -

Flint, MI has terrible drinking water because of the incompetence and corruption of the local politicians who failed to do their duty, it has nothing to do with the EPA.
Also, last year private buisnesses contributed 2.2 BILLION dollars to basic scientific research, its completely false to say that private industry doesn't invest in basic science, technology, or RND.
And according to this article: http://abcnews.go.com/Technolo... the government actually gave better tax breaks for SUV purchases than Hybrid vehicles. When your system of government requires 'the right person' to be in charge in order to work, you have a failed system of government. I would argue that the cost benefits of using less gas is what drove consumers to purchase hybrids, more than any tax breaks. Actually in California, i think the hybrid as a social status symbol (ooh look at me, i'm driving a hybrid because i care about the environment and YOU DONT) did more to drive sales of hybrids than any other vehicle. -

According to this article, Comey has declined to testify in private, but has indicated his willingness to testify in public. It's not clear if he has been officially invited to do so.

Re: First Comey now this
Again, every thing I have seen say you are being disingenuous. The position seems to have changed over time. Go figure.
From the first 2 links.

https://www.washingtonpost.com...Are you going to show me where he says; "I want a Muslim American database"? Also, how is that different than wanting a gun owner database?
>Try a little more variety in your news diet.
I get enough to know that CNN, NBC, FOX, WSJ, NYTIMES, MSNBC, washington post all pump out fake news. I'll glean the facts and ignore the narrative crafting. Also, i am curious from an ideologue, would you kill/die for the right of healthcare?

Re: Gets hacked and sold to your competitors
Did you ask if II have any evidence of Microsoft being Hacked before? Because I do:
http://abcnews.go.com/Technolo...
Or are you demanding I show that a new program that was just announced has previously been hacked? That is a stupid complaint on your part, indicating the total inability to make the simplest projections based on past experience
As for what my goal, I am trying to point out to corporations how invading their own employees privacy will also put at risks things the corporations value, in an attempt to educate and convince people to stop valuing privacy for a tenth of it's real value.
The fact that you don't see that is just as much a failure on might part to explain as it is on your part to understand.

Math
$515,000 dollars / 100,000,000 calls = 0.515 pennies per call. A dinky surcharge to continue operations, wouldn't you say?
Compare that with this. $675,000 dollars divided by 30 songs = $22,500 per song.
Finally solid proof that businesses aren't people. If they were the fines would be the comparable.

Re:Drawing more attention to Pepe
That part where you don't even understand the basics of chan culture. I'm not sure what's funnier, that you continue to parrot bullshit over and over and over again. Or that you seem to believe it. Whether it's "gamergate is full of misogynist neckbeards" supporting Sarkeesian the idiot that believes demurely dressed Elizabeth Comstock is "sexualized" or the "pepe is a hate symbol." Thanks for explaining and showing everyone what a normie is though.
Gonna be a real blow when you find out that those "white supremacists" are actually black, asian, and so on like so many times in the past. That the vast majority of what you see is to simply drive people like you into a "OMG THE WHITE SUPREMACISITS R EVRAYWARE!" and away from
/pol/ /b/ and so on. You know, kinda like that person who called in bomb threats against synagogues in the US was an Israeli-American citizen, living in Israel, and Israel just refused to extradite him. Or one of those multiple big name anti-gamergate people have been arrested, charged with rape, have multiple claims of sexual assault, or even one of the big anti-GG reporters was charged with 8 counts of bomb threats against jewish centers. And according to the FBI there hasn't been a single case linked to any member of gamergate...at all. -
Re: So they sell to anyone
I do see the violence on the right but I do make a distinction between actions v words and lone wolfs v groups.
Actually, what you do is try to embrace a false sanctimony as you fail to admit to the violent organizations on the right, from the Bundy Ranch militias, the Respect the Flag group, the Huttaree, and even the various Tea Party groups and others on the right-wing clamoring for a revolution. Which included Donald Trump, in 2012, with his infamous Tweetstorm.
If you want to admit to them, then fair enough, go ahead and condemn them. Say they're deplorable. Say they're repugnant. Say they're dangerous.
I don't blame the Chicago kidnapping on the left anymore than I blame the Charleston shooting on the right.
Yes, yes, you already made it clear that you want to ignore how Dylan Roof is merely one among many on the right espousing such views, but that won't make it not a fact that "they do exist in abundance.
Sorry, but Dylan Roof wasn't merely some lone isolated nut following the beat of a drum only he could hear, there's a whole marching band.
As for the rest of your diarrhea... try harder.
I will, you're not worth giving up on. You deserve to be informed. You deserve to have the strength of character you need to admit the truth. You can have the fortitude to boldly proclaim that the shit stinks all around. It's a dysentery that

Re:Easy
Except if a Judge decides he doesn't give a fuck, it doesn't matter how good your lawyer is.
An exact parallel to this case Has already happened, and it took 14 years for the guy to get out of jail. What kind of horrible crime must he have committed to be jailed for that long without a trail or conviction? It wasn't even a criminal case, but a divorce case! The wife said he hid $2.5 million overseas. He said he didn't and actually had lost the money in a bad investment. Judge didn't believe him, and put him in contempt of court. The guy was even a top notch attorney himself, so it's not like he wouldn't have had good representation. Simply put, the judge got pissed that he claimed something that was unprovable and that the judge didn't beleive, and put him in a hole to rot until he agreed to provide evidence against himself that he lied to the court.

Re:Trump
I used to live in Virginia. I would travel to West Virginia on holiday for mountaineering trips. It's a stunningly beautiful state, regardless of it's "redneck" reputation. I distinctly remember seeing vehicles on the road proudly decorated with "WV Coal Miner" bumper stickers. http://abcnews.go.com/US/Mine/... So yeah, I can think of lots worse careers than being a coal miner.

Re:But but, it'sâ a Republican idea!
Nice pigeon-holing.
*Some* Republicans are conservatives. Some are Progressives. Some are Republican in name only (RINO) and vote with the Democrats often.
Some Democrats are conservatives. Some are Progressives. Some are Communists, some Socialists. Some are Fascists and wear masks, carry weapons, and dress in black while rioting and violently attacking others that do not share their opinions.
What, only black? Not red? Camo? You know, like Cliven Bundy.
Up until just a few short years ago, the Democrats kept a former KKK leader in office, Robert Byrd, as a long-time Senator until he died in 2010. That's right, the Democrats had a Senator who served for decades who was a former KKK leader. Not 'member'. Leader.
You know, it's funny how people who rail about Byrd never mention two things. First, they never mention that Byrd expressly and explicitly repudiated the racist KKK (some go so far as to claim he never did), and Second, they never mention how the beloved Strom Thurmond was belovingly embraced into the GOP, and served pretty much the same time as Byrd.
Can you explain it?
Coincidently, speaking of civil rights and minorities, Democrats (and the KKK) fully support Planned Parenthood is and always has been, to slow the birthrates of 'undesirables' like blacks, the poor, the mentally challenged, and other minorities.
Oh no, because Margaret Sanger didn't want women to be burdened with no choice except to give birth time after time, she's not only anti-black, she's anti-Semitic. A self-hating Jew. You tell others to google her? You should look beyond the nonsense you've found on the pages of right-wing propagandists. She was actually brought into Harlem by the NAACP and the leaders of that community, after they saw the effects of her work in Jewish areas. In reality, it's the KKK that opposed Planned Parenthood, and their adherents in the White Power Quiverfull movement that want to breed themselves into dominance like some sort of infectious virus.
But sure buddy, it's conservatives and Republicans who are racist, etc etc, blah blah blah. Yep. Uh-huh. o_0
Yup. Let's see, there's the wonderful Steve King. There's that state Senator in Florida. There's Reagan's history of Dogwhistling, and there's Trump's rampant birtherism. Not to mention his Mexican Wall, Muslim ban, and inability to remember who David Duke is.
Sorry dude, but it's a telling sign when it's a Republican opposing the removal of monuments to white supremacy.

Reminds me of the great Sriracha shortage of 2013
Ah, those were the days. Barely lived through that one. =)
The story here, for those fortunate enough to have missed it.

Re:Yes please
Pretty sure Virgin is going to do the same thing that Comcast does now - separate IP range, separate SSID, separate MAC addys, separate bandwidth allocation/QoS...
And yet, the aforementioned SWAT Team / ICE brigate will demand _only_ to know the address where the traffic is coming from and by time Brad tells Tad tells Chad, that footnote on an administrative file will be brought up only in a wrongful death inquiry. (spoiler: use of force was justified).

Re:The Cooker
Got any water left in that mud of yours?
President Trump's wild charge that Susan Rice committed a crime, explained
What we're seeing now, in short, is not a legitimate debate about the threat posed to civil liberties by improper unmasking.
We are seeing a toxic combination of Trump's penchant for wild speculation, a right-wing media echo chamber, and the legacy of the Benghazi controversy coming together to produce an absurd pile-on - one that seems to have brought the Republican Party together around their remaining hatred for Rice and the Obama administration. What the article fails to mention though, is that all this water-muddying is taking place at the same time as Trump's "foreign policy adviser" Carter Page admitted, publicly, that he was "unmasked" by the FBI - as being recruited by the Russian spies.
Russian Spies Tried to Recruit Carter Page Before He Advised TrumpTwo years before joining the Trump campaign as a foreign policy adviser, New York business consultant Carter Page was targeted for recruitment as an intelligence source by Russian spies promising favors for business opportunities in Russia, according to a sealed FBI complaint.
Page confirmed to ABC News that he is the individual identified as "Male-1" in a 2015 court document submitted in a case involving the Russian spies.
Unmasking people recruited by foreign spies is BAD, mkay? Just trust in Trump and look the other way.

Re:So, the gist of it is...
Woah dude! What have you been smoking? I am talking about the actual news. Take a look:
http://dailycaller.com/2017/03...
http://abcnews.go.com/US/suspe...
And here is the definition of false flag:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
Two people responsible for the hundreds of threats against Jewish community centers, synagogues, and cemeteries as well as destruction of property, etc. The second link reveals this Jewish guy is responsible for threats all over the world, not just in the US. The media pushed hard for this story to be part of the "racists and anti-semites following Trump and Bannon, emboldened and galvanized into action, blah blah blah." Turns out it was the farthest thing from.
That doesn't preclude the Trump supporters or organization from doing the same thing with stirring up dissent, which was my point. Create a crisis, capitalize on it. You know, a page out of ol' Saul's book. Jesus, I keep forgetting how incredibly stupid you are. Don't try to figure out what this means, it will only confuse you.
I don't even know what the fuck the elders of Zion is, I'm just quoting the news, the Israeli police, and US justice department. What kind of filters are you running in your cortex that has you off on such a tangent? You need to clean them out, they're toxic and you can't see reality because of what you have overlaid on your perceptions.
Finally and most importantly, I don't have a "team." I am decidedly not one of you, if you will pardon the expression, fucking stupid morons that think a political party is going to save them. I don't play that game and I certainly don't see either party serving my interests or representing me in the slightest. So, yeah, keep on with your presupposed opposition, preconceived notions, and crazy internal monologue. If it helps you make enemies and completely misunderstand the world around you then I guess its working as you hoped?

Re:For the Republican readers
When you start off with your head up your ass, you can only spout the bullshit that's collected in your mouth,
1 - the president doesn't have the authority to repeal an act, such as the Patriot Act....congress does; you know, like the republican house that did absolutely nothing while Obama was in office. You too fucking stupid to remember that far back?
2 - https://www.washingtonpost.com...
https://www.bloomberg.com/poli...
http://www.rollcall.com/news/r...
I mean seriously, how fucking stupid do you have to be to not see EVERY damn news article about Gitmo closing had republicans blocking Obama from doing it? Are you seriously that fucking stupid, or is the problem you just can't fucking read?
3 - this just sounds like you being a typical whiny ass republican dipshit who can only spout catchwords they here coming out of some other republicans ass.
4 - just quit being a lying bitch. If you're in a red state that didn't expanded medicare, the problem is your fucking ideologically driven cocksucking republicans who'd rather see people die than get medical help.
5 - http://abcnews.go.com/Politics... You're just a fucking stupid parrot.
6 - have to say, i can't find this rabid-cocksucking-republican talking point anywhere, so i have to assume you're simply full of shit like all the other republicans conspiracy theory fuckwads. http://fairuse.stanford.edu/ov... for reading not tied to some cocksucking republican lying bitch. 7 - here you're just full of shit. opinions are like assholes... like you. Obama didn't obfuscate government transparency more than any other president before him, although VP Darth Cheney probably did much worse without cocksuckers like you saying anything about it. Now you have the worthless twat Trump in office, who appears to be bought and paid for by Russia, and a bunch of co-conspirator republican traitors who won't hold him accountable. Fucking republicans are what's wrong in this country.... traitors, liars, and all around pieces of shit. -

Navy Seal's aren't exactly sitting around defending installations, so that's still not a true comparison.
