Re:I say this in every keyboard thread
This guy posted a nice little tenting system made out of craft foam sheets:

http://imgur.com/a/7hhgx
I ended up designing one like it for my own split keyboard. Works great, feels great. Just don't spill soda on it.
I'm also a fan of the Microsoft Natural layout. I got one back in 1994 that lasted for 15 years before the keys began malfunctioning, and I had to throw it out, sadly. -
Move to Calgary!
Winter weather anywhere in Canada except the south west coast (Vancouver/Victoria area) sucks.
Depends what you like - I actually prefer winters in Calgary. It's a dry cold - add enough layers and you're good to go, there's no water trying to get in everywhere. I bicycle to work year round (I've missed probably a week or less each of the last five winters, mostly due to really icy days - my bike's OK on studded tires but I don't trust the cars) and my main issue is overheating after the first couple of minutes on the ride. There's a push on to diversify the economy away from oil, there's investment money that has been in oil and now needs to think about where to go next, the city's great and we're right next to the mountains. Literally just this week I did a 45 km canoe paddle through the city (much of it parkland), went sailing on the reservoir, and my wife took the kids camping in the mountains while I'm at work.
Housing prices are high but depending on where you work there are a lot of options inside and near to the city itself. Some rural areas can be a bit more socially conservative but the cities are as cosmopolitan as anywhere. Our mayor is a brown guy who may or may not be gay (I can't remember and can't be bothered to look it up). Also if you get fired or laid off or just want to do something entrepreneurial, you and your family will still have healthcare...
Canada FTW.

CNN coerced him to apologize by threatening to dox him, and now is claiming that he called them to apologize first. Check the timestamps and archive links here.
Which has caused a whole big pile of new anti-CNN memes. My favorites are the ISIS apology video ones. example here. And another. Also, this guy showed up. Even the theater in the park got involved.
Looks like pretty much everyone is now piling on. Here is Julian Assange, Donald Trump Jr., the Washington Times.
It is pretty much the only topic now on The_Donald and has numerous threads on
/pol/ (warning, NSFL). Front and center on Breitbart News and Drudge.Oh, and the guy's identity is pretty much out there already, making their threat moot.

Yeah, well there's the problem. Earlier this month Weather Underground called it 160F here in the northwest USA.
Fortunately, with the breeze and low humidity, it only felt like 150F.

and one more where we see the corset squeeze fat into his neck. It's funny how the broken brain works, and forces that shitty life on him. He is unable to tackle problem life throws him. He got dealt the ugly hand at birth, and the only way his brain keeps him from depression is by overcompensating. As he gets older, he becomes a master at this. Instead of recognizing when he is losing at something and doing something about it, it's easier to redefine the problem and pretend he wins.
Fat? Nah, let's not have a real workout and eat candy. I'm just gaining muscle and it weighs more. Forget that after five years it's literally impossible to stay fat unless you're doing weightloss wrong, and let's ignore BMI and the mirror showing a puffy couch. I'm a football player - I just can't do the mile in 5:30 like they can, because that's bad for the knees.
Kicked out of college? Forget studying and spending all that time on school. Go and get a joke "degree" from a place where it's easy and pretend you went to college.
Shitty job because you spend paid work time spamming a forum? Pretend you're a magic worker because you cleaned out a closet and found a 10 year old TV.
Accounts keep popping up until people get bored of writing pages of text? They can't create new ones because "I shut them down"
Pictures pop up online that I don't want? Pretend I took them all down, despite a world-wide exponential growth of picture availability. Let's ignore the fact that the whole game was to get people who take those pics down to look at the pics and forward them to their friends.
Hundreds of hours spent spamming and writing posts about your slashdot comments? Let's pretend empty traffic results in clicking on ads. Those russkies seeing two dicks with the address of his personal site means the Moscow deviants will click on his ads. Can't take them down, even tried the FBI with no effect? Let's pretend that didn't happen and I actually want those pictures up there.
So unsuccessful and ugly not even the nastiest bitch will fuck you? Let's pretend being a virgin is your choice. And that's how you end up the biggest loser waste of life on this planet ladies and gentlemen.

Hmm, maybe the people who created accounts sounding like yours were playing a game where you take them down, and it's not that you won and somehow blocked them from creating more accounts? I mean, what moron would think they're going to prevent people from creating accounts on this site? Now seem to be playing a game where you take images down... I'll play too.

Re: Expected slashdot post-2000 response
Seriously, you're by far the biggest asshole on slashdot, and it shows:
Anyways, here's something not at all made up that you struggled with earlier:
As fror the rest - what an idiot you are. Go look at pictures. The nerves are preserved as is a fair amount of tissue. And let's face it, it's the nerves and connected tissue that count. The parts that enable an erection are definitely not wanted, as they not only don't contribute, they detract from the final result.
Skin and a piece of the glans is all that remains, and it is NOT genitalia. Does the skin retain nerves? Yep, but again, this is part of a separate organ. A real vagina isn't skin, and is in fact a mucus membrane similar to the inside of your mouth and nose. There are two critical differences here:
- External skin found on the penis (and elsewhere) has a keratin layer, a mucus membrane does not.
- External skin poorly handles warm, moist environments, where it is increasingly susceptible to infection. A mucus membrane has its own mechanisms of fighting off infection in this environment that skin doesn't.In fact, given how obese you are, I'm sure you've observed the later under your skin folds by your arms and in the middle of your stomach: The moist environment is prone to infection, up to and including bleeding. Absent of maintenance, your "neovagina" as you call it will actually harden over time to resist these infections. And no, putting this kind of skin into your pelvis doesn't cause it to change from regular skin to a mucus membrane, even with hormones.
Now THIS is the made up "fact".
Must really piss you off that women accept me as one of their own.

This was the most difficult stage landing to date
She wasn't centered very well, must have had a hard landing due to a swell or wave.
The landing was hard because the stage had an extremely difficult landing profile, the most difficult one so far. It entered the atmosphere at a ridiculously high speed. The speed at the beginning of the re-entry burn (just before the stage really bites into the atmosphere) was 8600km/hr and 6600km/hr at the end of the burn. Going at 6600km/hr through the upper atmosphere puts you right on the edge of burning up. The final landing burn had to use three engines as opposed to the usual one engine.
In comparison, for the CRS11 landing, the second stage was going at 4500km/hr at the beginning of the re-entry burn, and 3500km/hr at the end of the burn. The landing burn was using only one engine. Because of the slower speed, it was far more easy for the stage to make a nearly perfect landing.
IIRC, on a really dodgy landing like today's the stage actually aims for the side of the ship and not the centre, so that if the landing burn fails, the stage doesn't sink the drone ship. When the landing burn begins, the stage corrects its target towards the centre. If you watch the feed from the ship, you can see from the water disturbance that the stage is over the water on the far side. It must have done a crazy divert to land on the near side of the ship, which explains the fact that the legs used their crush core shock absorption. It was probably 50/50 that this stage would survive.

This is worse since they have a government-granted
monopoly. On my street in Seattle, CenturyLink only provides "up to 1.5 Mbps" DSL:
Even that isn't reliable so I had to drop back down to dial-up again. It sucks that CenturyLink has taken so much money in taxes to provide universal service, but they are not offering it.

It's kinda amusing to see people who see that image and then try to establish what "side" they think I'm on. I ain't even got a Trump hat. I don't even know, anymore. I'm half convinced the whole world went insane without me. (Really, click the link. It'll maybe make you giggle - and who doesn't need a giggle?)

Re:Will you side with America?
-
Re: These lDIOTS
Right? I'm almost 100% certain that there are still base-specific rules (not regulations, there's a difference) that apply to RC aircraft - including planes, helicopters, and rockets. I know, beyond all reasonable doubt - as in I recollect the changes, that they enacted rules, per the OOD, or higher, that prohibited us from continued use of the devices while on base.
And that was the end of our fun. Except, I believe the rules ONLY applied over certain areas and that we were still okay for anywhere but things like the parade deck.
Again, it's been a very, very long time. Given the military, specifically the USMC, I can absolutely assure you that someone wrote these rules down. As such, I am positive that a FOIA/request would get the details.
Here, I am bored and this is some evidence. This was a young me and the pic isn't that good - but it will do.
I should do a better job and scan it, but I'm only trying to prove a point.
;-)In short, we went and got a remote controlled airplane. In fact, we went and got three or four. I'm not sure the total, as some weren't built the whole way. We then smashed them into each other, the buildings, and the ground. We even set them on fire and used them to set other things on fire.
Anyone who says there was some specific organization to prevent this behavior, that was able to prevent this behavior, is a dirty rotten liar. Seriously, they are liars. They're horrible liars, even.
This doesn't negate their point. It doesn't mean that I think everyone should do the stupid crap we did. No, it just means they're horrible liars. I'm not even sure why they'd bother to lie, when I can pretty easily disprove them.

No, you have a 4S with a completely cracked cover glass (without the digitizer built-into the glass. I used to repair those.)
"How the fuck do you upload images if you can't see anything? Or do you mean that you can't see some of the screen?"
I know my phone icon and function locations and apps blindfolded. My screen is totally fucked - http://i.imgur.com/Gf7Ffp8.png yet somehow the digitizer has no problems and functions.
