Hmm.. they already had depicted him before...
They already had depicted him before in season 10 "Cartoon Wars Part II":
http://images.southparkstudios.com/media/images/504/superbestfriends.gif
I was kind of surprised when I watched the show since they did this right after the danish
Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyllands-Posten_Muhammad_cartoons_controversy
What surprised me even more is that I don't recall anybody saying anything back then. Nevertheless, apparently Comedy Central is now refusing to show depiction of Muhammad so it seems the authors decided to masquerade him as a bear.

Re:Hopefully they aren't too effective..
Homo Sapiens will either evolve into something (or several somethings) else, or die off entirely. Of course, we can argue that we've already managed to fuck up our own evolution pretty good; the number of our members who manage to breed despite incredibly crippling congenital diseases, tendency towards debilitating developmental diseases, or simply managing to survive their own ridiculous stupidity through advancing medical science, is staggering.

South Park Did It!
It's like the "Simpsons Did It!", except with South Park.

Re:bad analogy?
Teach people how to get their studies done, even with access to loads of porn, swimming pools full of hot chicks, and computer games, and you will have much more successful people later, IN REAL LIFE!!
Besides: How can a human with a working brain think that the word “dick” is bad for children?
There was a study by the respected German scientist Prof. Dr. Kurt Starke, that examines the relation between pornography and the development of the youth, which does not find anything negative. On the contrary: Feelings of guilt and bans create a climate, that is harmful to growing up. About the current “youth protection laws” he says that: “From the point of view of sexology and youth science, and in consideration of the analysis in the present expert report, the respective [laws] are not only useless and in practice unenforceable, but latent or actually harmful for the youth. Dangers for the youth, from which the ban of “simple pornography” could protect, are scientifically unverifiable.”
And further “The prevalent criminal law constitutes a deep invasion of the sexual self-determination, which it’s actually supposed to protect, not only in its dimension of damage but also in the protection of its development.”
[Manually translated from German; source; via]But the current episode of South Park also says it very well: http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/1402/

Just Replay that South Park Episode
I think it was "More Crap". Everytime this guy opens his mouth, someone should just copy and paste a link to that episode as a reminder that Boner is the world's biggest piece of crap. Matt and Trey must've had a premonition of Boner into a bigger piece of fecal matter when they came up with that episode. http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/111250/

Re:how it is different from..
I read somewhere, although I can't verify it, that Southpark (The TV show, if you live under a rock) is done using SVG.
The reason you can't find a reference is because they never used SVG to animate the show. They currently use 3D software in production, according to their own FAQ from 2001:

Re:postThis reminds me of an episode of south park.. http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/251865 (US only)
If you're like other Americans, you love to eat Chipotle, but you hate all those terrible blood stains in your underwear... Well now there's a product that can even clean even blood stains caused by Chipotle right off your underwear. Chipotlaway. Just one Chipotle burrito can leave up to a quarter cup of underwear blood. But Chipotlaway makes your underwear clean and ready for more. Stop buying new underwear every time you eat Chipotle. That can cost you thousands... Imagine having underwear so clean you could practically eat off of it. Now you can eat all the Chipotle you want, and still have sparkling underwear.

Re:But...People have been killed by collisions with bicycles. Granted, the cyclist is usually hauling ass when it happens, and it's quite rare, but it's not unheard of. That said, it's still very rare, and most cyclists are pretty careful of hitting pedestrians, so I think the world will survive if cyclists don't have mandatory cards in their spokes.
As for the ego, are you referring to the motorists or the cyclists ?

Re:Too Many Free Variables
So you are saying that our whole freaking planet is a reality show?
Yes, didn't know know? "Well, you don't think the whole universe works the way Earth does, do you? No! One species, one planet! There's a planet of deer, a planet of Asians, and so on! We put them all together on Earth and the whole universe tunes in to watch the fun!"

Yes, the truth is a troll when you don't want to see it.
Oh well, it will be corrected in meta moderation just like the other times these global warming fanboys have to face the hard facts. And no, it's not like the Pixie fairies of bubble-yum forest were if you have to believe hard enough.

Re:Speech-to-text
I believe it is Season 10, Episode 1 (The Return of Chef). http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/1001/
This was after Isaac Hayes quit in a huff over SP's treatment of Scientology. The SP boys made a fairly nice "send-off" episode, but since Hayes had already quit, they used the library of his voice clips to do this episode. It is hilarious!

Re:Think outside the box
If you're going to deorbit it, why waste it on the ocean? At least drop it on a country we don't like. Or on Kenny.
Drop it on Australia again; because:
1. We could use another tourist attraction. http://www.nachohat.org/gallery/nullabor_balladonia_skylab
2. It would be nifty to have to whole set of American Space Stations.
3. Most of our wildlife already bounces nicely, so they won't be too worried about a bloody Big thump.

Re:Holy Crap! Calm down
Holy crap- you are, what we in the biz call, an over-reacting parent. Calm down and take it easy before you destroy your daughter's life.
Yep. This is a massive overreaction, it's a shame so many parents act like this today. A better thing to do is train your daughter to be independent so she can handle herself in unusual situations. Get her a prepaid cellphone. Get her into martial arts so she can be defend herself. Take her out shooting so show knows how to use a gun and to respect it.
Just think about it. Would you rather have a daughter that can take care of herself or one that's acclimated to being treated like cattle that needs "authority" to guide and protect her?
Anyway, please watch the South Park episode "Child Abduction Is Not Funny". The Penn and Teller: Bullshit! episode "Stranger Danger" is also highly relevant.

Re:Slashcode's lack of characterset support
For example, I find it hilarious when someone with a Danish accent does an impersonation of an American presidential cowboy.
As for the "dirka dirka" comment, it comes from a satirical animation that had a very strong political and philosophical message. Perhaps you have not seen it? -
Re:Sure, but
If I, as a layman, can design a 3 person vehicle that gets 180 miles to the gallon (of biodiesel) based on existing designs and current technology, what exactly is the holdup?
the holdup is supply-and-demand. even though you can build it, would anyone buy your eco-friendly biodiesel? i can think of only a few that might, unless the gov't starts forcing people to buy them. in light of the recent detriot bailouts, that may very well happen.
