I currently subscribe to T-Mobile's WiFi@Home feature so that I can place calls on my BlackBerry through WiFi. One of the coolest features was being able to place those calls from Starbucks for no additional charge. I wonder if there will still be some type of deal between AT&T and T-Mobile to allow that feature to continue.

Does nobody realize how much of our day to day food is produced in a lab anyway? Artificial sweeteners are called artificial for a reason. When it comes down to it, a cloned animal is still an animal. It isn't as though we are replacing any part of it with some artificial substance to make it a low fat diet cow. 23. BlueRay format not finalized, players will die. on HD DVD Prices Slashed By Toshiba · · Score: 2, Informative

Read this from the Firehose the other day. Seems that the BlueRay format was not and is not finalized yet. All 1st gen players aren't going to support the final format (which sounds an awful lot like HDDVD with internet connectivity) and they won't be able to be upgraded. The only player that will continue to work is the PS3. Talk about alienating customers. This makes me think that the war is far from over.

This page suggests that the memory devices they are creating have a small display to show the free space on the chip. Wouldn't this suggest that they are making these chips filesystem aware and able to read free space? Adds to the bogus factor... not to mention the 3rd grade quality of their site...
