What was to stop, say, the Soviets or Chinese from going up and physically stealing a very expensive satellite that presumably contains technology/information we don't want them getting their hands on?
While I am not entirely sure what could stop the Chinese, I am fairly certain there are many impediments to the Soviet Union launching such a mission currently.
I remember waiting patiently every year for the April issue of Dragon to come around. They always found many ways to make me laugh with those. One thing that still sticks in my head was a magic item that was listed in one of said issues: The Robe of Blending (Three Speed). I always got a chuckle thinking about putting that into a campaign and describing what happens to the hapless character when he hits the button for 'Puree'.
Wow. First the Blackberries start working again and then this news of a judge somewhere who doesn't have his head up his ass. Did someone spike my coffee with X this morning?
IANAL, But let's say for argument's sake that the kid is right and the record companies are 'colluding'. That seems immaterial to the charge that he violated copyright violation. Statue of Limitations I can see, but you can't use wrongdoings of others as a defense for your own, unless they are directly relevant to this case (extortion claims? But isn't that how all lawsuits work? Sue or settle?) If the case had no merit, then it shouldn't go forward at all, but I don't see how this 'collusion' defense addresses the charges at hand.
IANAGN (I Am Not A Grammar Nazi) but not only did you make a valid point, you also gave me a HELL of a good idea on how to fuck over the players in my D&D campaign!
I can't believe noone has mentioned Freespace! Absolutely fantastic game series that just seemed to die after two games and right in the middle of the story. Oh well. At least it still lives on in the OSS community:

While that sounds intriguing, I am actually looking for a "hot building with big, flammable thing".

'If it sells, well, then we can come another day,' Come again?

Replace bomb sniffing dogs with jedi knights. Explanation not required.
These aren't the bombs you are looking for. Move along (there's nothing to see here).

RAMEN, BROTHER!
If their new corporate headquarters gets bombed by terrorists?
Just a thought.
Wow, 5.5% for each customer you say? With 2.2 million customers that works out to 12100000% per month! Seems a little harsh if you ask me!
Is that at $.02 or $.002 per minute?
Super massive black hole?! That SUCKS!!
Hardware sales were brisk as well, with the Wii selling around 436,000 units. Trailing behind were Microsoft and Sony, with 360.
WOOHOO!! More proof the Wii kicks ass!
Sorry, worthless spelling Nazi... :)

Please don't tease the animals. It's not nice.
