    Incentive: Tested applications that are proven not to be malware. Sure, Google may offer the same thing as any software repository, but can you be sure that what you've just found isn't malware? Can you? Can you really?

    So why don't you just switch to a Linux now? Piracy of Windows hurts both Linux and Microsoft, it shows that people are more willing to use pirated Windows than legally free Linux. Why anyone would want a pirated version of anything over a free alternative is beyond me, but then again it is probably like this: If breaking the law is cheaper than abiding by it and the breech isn't noticed, then it can be seen as just a good business move.

    I suppose they're doing us a service with this patent. Now no one else can deliberately cripple their operating system. I suppose their motive was for that Max-3-Apps thing in the starter versions of 7.

    It could also refer all pages to one of those Hot Spot login pages that most have to first enable the internet. I would assume than it would be safer to not refer SSL ones to their as to allow them to finish what ever it is in SSL... But then that's an awesome loophole for SSL proxies, etc.

    I read avgift and thought it had something to do with AVG... possibly a weird portmanteau of AVG and Grisoft. However, A/V Gifts makes (some) sense too.

    That said, if all the plans to a 2009 model Audi, Subaru, Porche or Lamborghini were leaked on to a torrent site I would most probably download them. If I had the necessary funds I would probably use them too. By all I was meaning everything, from design sketches and CAD of the steering wheel to the engine.
