    I believe Microsoft owns the license to make Shadowrun videogames. I hope they use it to enter the MMORPG market.

    It's not entirely his fault though - most new technologies and techniques get slammed here. This is unusual in that none of the +5 rated comments (currently) are negative.

    I, personally, think it's unusual because you'd expect the largest group of nerds on the net to embrace technology rather than bash it.

    Yes!

    I, for one, am willing to give up features in order to have a cheaper, smaller phone. It's too bad they don't sell the Siemens SL56 anymore, it's pretty much perfect.

    i am sure sitting infront of a computer monitor each day is a bit worse than me using my cell.

    The LCD monitor manufacturers should really grasp onto this to boost sales. "Buy an LCD or get cancer!"

    Yup. Getting 36FPS in Doom 3 at 1024x768 in high quality and 42 in HL3 at the same resolution is DEFINITELY "stuttering along".

    Maybe you should actually look at the benchmarks before you jump to conclusions?

    Oh no, I wasn't joking.

    I want a Shadowrun-style datajack. I want to be able to jack into my computer, car, whatever. I honestly hope I live to see the day where this stuff is available at a consumer level.

    Keep in mind that they run what's probably the most popular free e-mail service out there - hotmail - and there's no telling how much the spam they have to process costs them.

    Yes, but it's all the same data, still. If you only count UNIQUE data, the number is MUCH, MUCH lower.
