Time Warner already have their own content setup its AOL...if their smart they provide more content and allow users to get AOL BYOA (bring your own access).
Doing so would give AOL the best of both worlds...more users and PR for the company/brand.
If your interested in finding out more info about ADSL in Ireland its worth checking out http://www.irelandoffline.com
While you can now get 2MB ADSL in Ireland for under 50 (euro) a month, Eircom (Irelands largest ISP) has a 4GB and 8GB cap per month on there home products and out of all of there Business DSL product there's only one that has no cap.
Another big factor is the fact that most people pay 30 euro a month for line rental which is pretty expensive tbh.
This makes me laugh...Ireland is behind several european countries when it comes to ADSL rollout with regards to cost and speed and yet we're going to have sat links so cinemas can get movies?
Is this there way of trying to stop piracy over the net?:)
As someone that born/lives in Ireland its extremnely annoying when I order stuff on-line and even when I select Ireland I am still prompted to enter a postcode. This generally ends up being N/A or 12345, surely forms should forgo the postcode once Ireland is selected?
The nearest thing Ireland has to a postcode is Dublin 4 or Dublin 1.
In short no, explaining a technical issues to a manager or supervisor is painful at best. - They don't understand things - they end up asking people - Ultimatly the 'other' person makes the decision for them - They don't understand why they are delays etc for technical reasons.
Thats true, there is NO spyware bundled with kazaa BUT the so called "free" version DOES include adware http://www.kazaa.com/us/products/downloadK MD.htm
Ok it don't record TV shows but... - Shows RSS feeds - Stream music - Looks up movies entries on imdb.com - Ripps audio CD's to mp3 - Records streamed music - Allows browsing of network drives - Tells you the weather

I've flat out refuse to use one brand of monitor we have at work, even at 85Hz they give me a headache after about 10-15min.
:/
The LCD's at work ain't much better as there cheap things, so basically I'm limited in what PC's I can use at work...which is good and bad
Anything at 60Hz is just plain crazy in fairness!
I've been using Nero for years and I gota say k3b and nero are almost the same. :)
Choices are always good though

it wouldn't be the first time a english paper included R.Ireland in a survey about all things UK!
no, I have a problem with Americans who voted for Bush though :)
I'm curious did they include NI or perhaps R.Ireland in these stats?
I don't know, it seems ok to me

Loads of sites have a copy of this video, this is hardly news?
