    I go there once a year and I'm white :) They speak the best english out of any low wage country and their country gets tax shelters in some buildings. American labor can't compete with that, unless your a system analyst or program manager.

    But is it really that bad that we are loosing all the crappy programming jobs most idiots could do? A good amount of design and you can get a working application back from people with better education than most american programmers in less time for less money. You can also import this labor and use it to fuel the economy.

    The only people who are loosing out are the ones that can't adapt. You can make a good living on the internet. You can make a decent living going around and solving problems of local businesses. You can make an even better living by hiring other people to do the grunt work. Voila you have a company.

    The cellphone companies wanted the ban because their cell towers couldnt handle a plane of 200 people with their cellphones on trying to connect to 400 towers.

    So hosting with companies like Akamai will be required if you run a large website (kinda already that way look at google, whitehouse, ebay, etc). You can kill one node but you cant kill them all.

    Your arguement for need is like saying everyone only needs a 200mhz processor because it ONLY takes 10 minutes to start windowsxp. But if you had that 10 terrahertz processor it would start instantly.

    Think of all the small business openings this will create. Almost anyone will be able to start a small streaming media company without buying 20k/month in bandwidth. More bandwidth will mean the death of television as you know it.

    While some of what you said was true, there is probably no way in hell that someone with a GF4MX can see all the wonderful things on someones face in HL2. In doom3 each rendering pipeline for each card practically looks the same. HL2 will just be a slow mess on anything not ATI.

    Expand beyond the internet and become a more mainstream advertiser by selling the ability to display television ads related to what characters are saying.

    Think about it, no more 30 second commercials. Just a logo or CNN style text ad running on the bottom of the screen. This is more of a reality for internet video streams and could easily make the market expand rapidly.

    If you go to google labs http://labs.google.com you'll notice that you can do a search over the phone with your voice. I've never used it but I assume that if they can identify the word "soda" that it can and probably will be used to generate related content, ie ads, like the parent is claiming.

    You should be responsible for your actions. Public travel falls under the umbrella of being responsible. If you want to travel anyomously you can, just not on regulated travel systems that are trying to be safe. The excuse that you shouldnt have to show ID because people can fake it is like saying you should use the default root password because anyone can bruteforce your machine if given the chance.

    We already have different classes of athletes. Look at the special olympics. Different types of handicaps qualify you for different levels of competion. Now they just need to expand it to encompass all people, not just the below average ones.

    The human birth rate is even lower if you take into account "attempts" every time a woman has a period a potential "life" is lost. Every time you beat off, millions of "lives" are lost. Whats your point if they fuck up while trying to make a clone? Thats what happens in humans, the baby aborts itself resulting in a miscarriage.
