Seriously, look at the modern Eygptians and their ancestors... Nothing has changed in 4,500... If anything their society has progressed backwards thanks to their religion... So please save this superior Eygptian culture bullshit...
They couldn't have built them! Because they couldn't build them NOW (without Western technologies).
What an ignorant thing to say. Now you will please shut up yourself.
Just an idea if you want to roll your own solution: save your web application state in a XML document. Have a database full of inputs and expected outputs (all as XML), run a script to go through them all and make sure they match up.
The British tried this, and it worked remarkably well, it was only when they got bored and went home that the former provinces of the Empire reverted to poverty and neglect.
They didn't get bored, they were kicked out, or left before they were about to be. They avoided the French mistake of sticking around, and so didn't get whooped like the French in Algeria and Vietnam.
One possibility is that these countries establish governments and economies like ours. The other is that one or more Western powers simply conquers them and establishes an Empire.
You are what is politely referred to as an imperialist, and commonly referred to as a fuckhead.
I can't believe this is what passes for sophisticated political commentary on./
Well so is the oil industry if you look at the overall picture. How many billions have gone into supporting a foreign policy predicated on protecting oil supplies?
I'm not convinced that corn is the best crop
But you don't really know one way or the other now do you?

Have you read about how Islam is treating anybody with enough education to frame a question to ask the immams? After they've shot them?
Exactly where did that happen?? Don't tar an entire religon like that. As bad as the influence of the radicals is in some countries, it's not that bad.
In fact your entire post is like that, full of points based on hand-waving ('their schools, in those countries where they still pretend to have some' wtf? where? how? who? when?)
Blatant generalization is one of the most obvious logical fallacies to fall for. And to do it for a group of 1 Billion people!!!?
So pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and try again.
I heard there was a patch to cdparanoia to get around various copy protections schemes like MediaCloq etc. Does anyone know where to get a copy of that? Also I heard there was an article in 2600 Hacker's Quarterly a few issues back with more info on circumvention. Does anyone have that info online?
Opera reported over a million downloads of its Linux version, with strong interest from Asia and Eastern Europe.
With true multi-windowed browsing, mouse gestures, and easy configuration (e.g turning off those damned pop-ups is a menu item), its hard to understand why some people are knocking it.
It's true. There was a file that I hadn't finish downloading from Morpheus. When it shut down I installed Grokster and it finished if for me. I bet the same holds true for Kazaa

So it is important that Netscape survives.
Check out the Amazon reviews
They are based on the H.324 standard
The beautiful thing about this approach that people seem to be missing is that it evolves as spam does.
I dont' know how it will work with images though
It's probably worth checking out
How many times does this have to be said?

It's kind of fuel-intensive to make
But again, you don't really know.
The heart of the iPod is its small form-factor Toshiba hard drive which is also available in the GigaBeat MP3 player from Toshiba itself.

IE instructions: Allow the movie to play. Open up your temporary internet files folder and sort by size. One of the big ones will be the QT movie.
It works for the Apple.com movie trailers at least.
Before you do that, how about making Freenet actually usable?
One word fuckwad. SoundScan

What ever makes America great it sure isn't the type of people posting on Internet thats for sure.
The half-baked logic is incredible.
-Why do Americans instinctivly react to any criticism by retreating to simplistic self-congratulation and triumphalism? Get over yourselves.
- The success of the U.S doesn't mean Islam is irrelevant.
Once and for all: Middle Eastern countries are not backwards because of Islam.
Is Catholicism irrelevant because most Catholic countries are poor?
In the early 80's most Catholic countries were dictatorships. Was Catholicism too blame?
Middle Eastern countries are backwards because of a rotten political culture that exploits religon the way Milosevic exploited nationalism. Period.

Thats why they're calling themselves strictly KFC rather than Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Its more like Kentucky Fried Lab Tumors.

The best line in the piece: "fans of passive-aggressive potshots will be in heaven"
Some how that rings a little too true.
I heard about this before, the whole thing will be based on MS Exchange format. File systems in the traditional sense of the term will plug in to it.
If anyone has more info on this please post below.

Altavista easily failed the Via Technologies test the author used in google.
Sorry but AV is so 1998
When Google was fixing the kinks in groups.google.com, I remember everyone complaining.
Look at apple.com. Its not a mistake, its not a leak, they are already showing off the new iMac there.
Doesn't anyone do any background checks before a story is put up?
