Uh, a hellfire is an anti-tank air to ground missile. Not that useful for downing a floating lawnchair. Stinger missiles (shoulder launched ground to air) might work though.
Well, considering I just logged into a high population server with no queue and no loot lag, yeah I think it is going great. The problems have been mostly solved.
They noted on the Bliz forums that they turned on queues to keep the number of players in the starting areas to a managable level. Once the players start to spread out they will drop the queues.
Yes in some ways it looks good but they also been amazingly reluctant to truly open up their betas to europeans. Have they got something to hide?
They are trying to keep players on the servers in their own region. Each region is launching at a different time. US, Korea and Aus/NZ launch on Tues, EU on Feb/Mar '05, no idea when China launches. The European closed beta just launched September 30. Wether they will have an open beta like the US is still to be determined. Sorry you guys have to wait, the open beta was a blast. You could always import the game and buy a time card to play on US servers (so I've heard).
You know this advice is in the first chapter of EVERY book on getting a job/writing a resume. Always tailor your resume for the job you are applying for.
Just curious, but what elite quest did you solo and what class/lvl were you? The 2 I tried (human bandit and dwarf wendigo both around lvl 11) I was trashed pretty quickly. I couldn't imagine being able to solo those unless you were several levels above the level the quest was intended for.
I have been on several projects which involved business units on the other side of the world. There are times when you basically lose a day because you find something in the morning that needs the other team to fix. This can be mitigated by forcing one team or the other to shift their work schedule, but this can cause other problems for the team who are forced to change.
Also if you are dealing with hardware it is a lot easier to get something overnighted in country than having to deal with customs.
No, congress cannot refuse the electors votes. The votes are collected in each state, sealed and sent to the President of the Senate. The Pres of the Senate opens them and counts them before both houses of congress.
Garfield grossed $192 million worldwide ($75 mil domestic, $117 mil overseas) on about $50 mil production budget and about $35 mil marketing. Sure it may suck (no idea, haven't seen it myself), but it still made a lot of money.
Umm, I voted straight democrat for the national positions this election (voted repub for my state legislature, though they lost unfortunately). I never voted for Bush, can't stand the guy. But I am SICK of the far left whining constantly. You lost, deal with it, figure out why and adjust your strategy or the republicans WILL gain a 2/3 majority in the senate and they will then be able to ram anything through congress they want. Oh and saying that the American people are sheep won't gain you anymore votes.
I think this is one of the big reasons that Kerry lost. The constant whining, conspiracy theories and gnashing of teeth by the left is a HUGE turnoff to moderates. I would suggest the left take a hint from their own PAC, MoveOn!
The Libertarian party does poorly because their policies are too extreme. I am all for lower taxes and less government, but not axing every government program in existance. I would support the Lib party if they fought for reform and reduction of waste rather than elimination of programs.
Money which a corporation makes overseas is not taxed if it is kept overseas. They basically say they are investing the overseas profits overseas. Without the loophole the company would need to pay the US tax rate on the money less any local taxes paid.
fine if things are that horrible for them they can vote absentee, though quite frankly they should probably just off themselves since I couldn't imagine they are enjoying their lives very much if they are that enslaved by their job.
Predator has NEVER been shown uncut on regular broadcast TV in the US. Please stop making up BS just so you can try to feel superior to the US.
Because it is easier than saying Chrismahanukwanzakah (props to Virgin mobile for this rather amusing ad campaign).

Can you really expect anything better from someone with a sig like that?

Actually it is a Gwen Stefani solo projet song.

Was that the fountain Valley store? That is a bit of a special case since the developers were there to sign things.

So how do all those ship launched cruise missiles get around this?
None of the exit polls in the electronic voting states match up with any of the polls conducted prior to the election either. What's that tell you?

Uh, too extreme for damn near everyone. Or didn't you see the miserable percentage of votes the Libertarians garnered this past election?
There are lots of problems in this country, but just dumping everything is not a good answer for most people.

Err, well, they don't really endorse anyone specifically. Each editor makes their case for a different candidate.
The real endorsement is for the Republican party to wake the hell up and kick out the neo-cons who have caused unbelievable damage to the country.

A WSJ journal article about this is posted here.

Uh, you can get the boss thrown in jail and/or fined?
