  1. Re:Sounds like "Electric Universe" nonsense on 'Starquake' Cracks Star · · Score: 1

This is essentially the Quranic view of reality. The world is a game. Your goal is to collect as many points as possible by doing good. God has created it as a way to sort the souls, in a kind of ultimate natural selection. Look carefully out the window and you will notice it looks eerily like a really well-crafted Virtual Reality engine.

  2. Re:Its a matter of perspective on Pay vs. Happiness · · Score: 1

This world is an extremely well-done virtual reality engine. True happiness lies in seeing the game for what it is and then working to maximize your score in the game, through good actions.

The Prophet said, "Who among you considers the wealth of his heirs dearer to him than his own wealth?" They replied, "O Allah's Apostle! There is none among us but loves his own wealth more." The Prophet said, "So his wealth is whatever he spends during his life (on good deeds) while the wealth of his heirs is whatever he leaves after his death."

So focus on good deeds and on earning a reward for the next life, and you will achieve true happiness in this life.

Another remarkable study found that just 4 percent of consumers would be willing to stick with a brand if its competitors offered better value for the same price.

Also there is a difference between people saying they will switch brands, and people actually doing it. Market research is right up there with astrology and tarot cards in predictive accuracy.

I have been using SpamAssassin and it is working fairly well.
