Yep. I can already hear the politicians turning out their pockets and saying we're broke. Ok, now for the military and war budget. Lets just cut them another blank check. The BIG problem is that the military industrial complex is NOT in the space race anymore. Instead they're busy making new war toys (rail guns and scout drones) and urban pacification tech (sonic and microwave machines that really hurt but don't kill). If Kim Jong Il, Osama Bin Laden, and Cobra Commander launched a terrorist nuclear strike from their moonbase then I can guarantee the space race would back on. It's because threat has higher priority to the political and public psyche.

Wasn't there speculation that Twitter was going to be bought out by Facebook awhile ago(thought there was an article here on Slashdot)? I haven't ever used Twitter but that just seems like a perfect match that would serve both companies well in the long term.

But how is Twitter compatible with Apple? Unless there is going to be some sort of exclusive iPhone app.

I know EXACTLY how you feel since I am currently teaching English to elementary students (1-6) in S Korea. I'm trying to teach phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and conversational english; all at the same time. And through talking with other English teachers in the TaLK (Teach and Learn Korea) program I've figured out that entertaining teachers simply are the better solution for a younger crowd. Its because they're just kids and they'll just zone out if you speak only english while teaching the mechanics of grammar.

Yes, that's something of a minor problem with Blizzard. Although they never push out a game before its ready (like Age of Conan). On the other hand, taking a very long time making a game is a) going to be expensive and b) the technology to play on is constantly changing. And when you've finally put the product on the street, there's still no guarantee that it'll be a success. That said, I'm going to buy SC2

Its usually a stalling tactic but it sometimes works. I believe its how the MPAA was formed since its not a government organizations (If it was it'd likely fall under the wing of the FCC).
