Is it time for 1U servers to convert to 2.5" hard drives?"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but why would server owners want to "upgrade" to a smaller, quieter, more expensive drive if they're not even going to get a performance increase? I can easily see these replacing the older drives in new machines, but forget about upgrading...
"Hey, yanno this is the third time you sent this to me. Maybe you should think about another OS. I got a copy of Mac OS X here if you'd like to try it. In my professional opinion its more secure and will save you money and time." No need to buy any new hardware"
10-20 years ago I stopped picking my nose (in public anyway), and now the hole is getting smaller. According to your logic, my public nose-picking caused the hole in the ozone layer.
Yeah... it's not really a big deal. You can take a screenshot of the PDF and paste it into MSPaint as well (although it fails with Paint Shop Pro.) Still, I was able to break the bill into smaller pieces, paste them into PSP, and re-assemble them. Annoying, yes... but it's hardly without a workaround.
He mentioned that... Bilbo finds "the one ring" in The Hobbit. So, since they've already announced they're doing the Hobbit, of course a prequel will come next.
The reason it has been unpatched for months at a time is because IT guys aren't doing their jobs. I have all of the computers in my department set to download any new Windows Update patches, then install them at 3:00am. Was I affected by the MSBlaster worm? Well, I had two machines out of 150 infected, and only because I missed them when I set up automatic Windows Update. However, it didn't spread to the other machines in my network.
The new laptop will feature a special liquid crystal display panel that is placed on top of a conventional screen.
It's not a conventional monitor... We're talking about a laptop here. It's a conventional LCD screen. (In case you're wondering the difference, a monitor is a free-standing device, while a screen is attached to something.)
His argument claims that there is some correlation between being black and watching kiddie porn. If there were no similarities, his argument wouldn't hold water (and it doesn't).
I can't believe you're actually comparing downloading kiddie porn to being "colored", as you so aptly put it.
Since when has being a non-white been against the law?
A more accurate comparison would be comparing people who drink alcohol behind the wheel to drunk drivers. That's why it is illegal to drive with an open container of alcohol... it's way too easy to get drunk.
The fact that large-scale movie piracy (and indeed, any piracy) is happening is an indicator that people are largely unsatisfied with the current prices and/or distribution methods.
That, plus (point #1) pirates are cheap bastards. I have a friend that would rather burn a lower quality copy that purchase the DVD regardless of the price. By your logic, the movie industry should just lower its price to free because (see point #1).
It's the same situation with computer viruses. The ones that disable your machine immediately never make it past the first computer. It's the ones that lie dormant that become so widespread.
COPYRIGHT laws deal with the right to copy. On a cartridge game, you do not have the right to make a copy (even a backup.) Besides, backups aren't used so that you can play a game somewhere else. The sole acceptable purpose for a backup of software is so that the original can be restored if it becomes corrupted. Remind me again how playing your GBA games on a black market emulator fits into that statement?
It's a web server with an RJ45 port. How exactly will that "net-enable just about anything"?
Sure, you can plug a webserver into anything that happens to have an existing RJ45 port, but what use would that be? (Just what I've always wanted... a web server that I can plug into my laptop so I can browse the web at a blazing 300k/sec.)
I want to net-enable my car. Someone tell me how this RJ45 device will allow that. My car doesn't even have an RJ45 port...
One word... resolution. Think of the resolution needed to be able to display anything worthwile in something so small.

So you're saying you would pirate Mac OS X?
can use his thoughts to control a computer well enough to operate a TV, open e-mail and play Pong with 70% accuracy
I can do the first two easily enough, but he's got me beat on the 70% Pong rate...
I suppose the guy that wipes fecal matter off the walls in insane asylums ranks in at number 4...

The technology doesn't limit using images of the bills, but the size of the images. Try getting a larger resolution screenshot from the PDF file:- face-web.pdf
:P

You'll notice that most modern programs won't allow you to paste the screenshot into them (although MSPaint doesn't seem to have a problem).

Done... for a one-time fee of $135, AT&T will install the wiring in your house so that you can use your regular phones in your regular phone jacks.
I have a proxy server to go through here at work, and Media Player 10 tells me that there are no online stores available in my area. Hmmmm...
Not to be confused with Belgian Red Bull, which is something entirely different...
He mentioned that... Bilbo finds "the one ring" in The Hobbit. So, since they've already announced they're doing the Hobbit, of course a prequel will come next.
Will it make it easier to use Linux on a Windows machine? Yes.
Will my grandmother switch to Linux because of the new processor? No.
Same old, same old...

And the Slashdot story says "monitor" while the article says "screen" (not the same thing.) I guess Michael was trying to be original...

That doesn't change the primary point of my post... had you actually read it, you might have understood.

$output="Hola";
There... I have a working model. I don't have to make it in its final revised version to prove the method.
I'll take a dump in your hand for free, but do you prefer that to chocolate ice cream?
