you might try these guys, http://www.scancafe.com/works.php basically you mail them all your negatives (i think they take prints too) and they scan em in india, put em online and you can choose which scans to keep, then you get your originals back in the mail with a disc containing your scans.
I still think you're thinking about this too much. Do you ever ride the bus? when you get on you are expected to move to the back of the bus so more people can keep getting on. The phrase is that simple.
its not the LCD its the CCD, the sensor that picks up the light through the lens, i have one of the effected camcorders and it just shows and records blackness.
I'll block ads if they are overly obnoxious. Banner ads I already disregard automatically so i leave them alone, AOL instant messenger ads I block because they have video and freaking audio too thats just out of line. Those flash ads that cover the site you're trying to look at are obnoxious too but I can tolerate them because i see them rarely.
In magazines I can't stand the ads that "stand out" by being of thick, extra stiff paper or goddamn beer coasters or something that get in the way of flipping through magazines.
the treo650 hack to run the wifi card last i read requires a hard reset to switch from using wifi to using your mobile carrier's data services.

IBM/Lenovo actually make pc keyboards like that http://www.pc.ibm.com/us/accessories/keyboards.htm l Check out the keyboards with "Ultranav," they have the pointing nipple and touchpad which makes the keyboard kind of big. There are a couple of older models with just the pointing stick but i think you can only find those on ebay now. Search for "trackpoint space saver"
who cares what environmental changes happened BEFORE man walked the earth? We should be worried about environmental changes that happen while we walk the the earth because a "re-organized" earth probably won't have human's walking it anymore either.
often i find myself fixing windows for people and it would be helpful to me if you could tell us where this special hiddeny copy of the uh.. system hives... I'm not joking, i assumed you meant files but looking at my keyboard there doesn't seem to be any easy way to mistype hives when you intend to type files.

Is anyone else bothered that Devon Aoke is in like 30% of the trailer but gets no onscreen credit, while they flash Nick Stahl and Josh Hartnet's mugs just long enough to show their names?
this is modded funny but Tom Cruise's teeth were pretty messed up until recently. I remember when he was promoting Minority Report, he went on Leno and had braces on.
During my last year of University the network was so bogged down with p2p traffic (or so they told me) that it was a nightmare trying to download any kind of large file. Suddenly it felt like I was on dialup again. The only way to get a decent speed file transfer was from someone at another Internet2 connected school. My understanding was that any connection between 2 schools that were on Internet2 would automatically use the faster other pipe.
I've looked into ebooks before and most of the time the ebook costs more than the real book does. I just don't get it.

another site worth looking at for nostalgia is X-Entertainment.com. When I first discovered this site I spent hours reading the articles about all the crap i had/watched when I was a kid.
more recent sony discmen (discmans?) have insane battery life as do the md players, at least in the higher end units. my old discman could get 50+ hours on a pair of AA and my minidisc player gets 30+hours on one AA easy.
evacuated to where exactly? and by whom? you saw what happened to katrina do you really think we're any more prepared for anything like this?

True, "Urban" = "Black"
I've seen this at barne's and noble. "Urban fiction" its not books about cities, its books about black people in cities.

they gone from wireless back to tangled cords?
that's a step backwards, people. Its the same reason why i won't try the Vertical Mouse.

yeah i think if the last time it happened was in the 2nd century BC, this can count as the first time as far as we're concerned
+5 funny but there's really no elegance to this frame, he just ripped open the lcd clamped a frame to it and then flipped the laptop on its keyboard.
