We could call it, I don't know, Real Alternative....
Seriously though, I realise its not about the player here, but to echo many of the previous comments, and no doubt many of the comments to come, the Real codec hasn't been relevant for 5 years, I don't have it installed on any of my boxes because I never come across the opportunity to download media in that format
At first I laughed at your comment, then remembered a long time ago when Geocities had a "random page button" and cried a tear. I think a dozen monkeys have a better chance at producing literature than an infinite number of google home pages.
OK, I actually quite like this idea. I've had my P900 for a few years now as I cant really see the point of giving up a phone that does everything for me (phone, browser, email, ssh ferchristsakes). A boost in storage for MP3's sounds like a great idea.
However, just look at the flimsy ribbon connecting it, imagine the poor quality adhesive that will rip the bugger off when my phone is in the same pocket as my keys. Nah, I'll wait until they get it out of prototype phase.
OK, not my computer, but my father had a guy working in his accounts department many many years ago whos job it was to perform long arduous calculations to work out the monthly bonus' of the sales force. His job title was "Computer"
Likewise, I use the same software as yourself, but you forgot to mention the weakest link in the chain, IE AVG, S&D, Adaware (although less so now, S&D seems good enough) and Firefox! Malware free for 2 years:)
For Gods sake man, you're just making so that you are easily replaced. Real men don't comment or document their code; instead we sit in high priced development contracts performing application support.
And to make them cheap and environmentally friendly so they can be thrown-away if required, yet at the same time durable enough so they can be stored for long periods of time... in fact, just like paper.
Arsenic = Naturally occuring substance (you know when potatoes grow a green scum... thats arsenic)
Acid = Oh no, not acid, which type, I really hope it isnt ascorbic acid, nasty that one, I try to avoid it at all costs... hey, my teeth have all fallen out
No, it was released, back into the wild where it could roam the serengeti, grazing on memory sticks and breed with other smartphones. However, 3 weeks into its new found freedom, it was eaten by an HTC XDAII who regurgitated its circutry to feed its offspring.
Nice... for our American bretherin, the BNP (British National Party) is the equivalent of the pre-war Nazi party.
Anti-immigration, deny the holocaust, fascists and bigots. Their chairman is currently undergoing legal scrutiny for hate-crimes.
And you expect people to take your comments seriously when you let everyone know what strange bed-fellows you have.
Why dont you post comments on a more supportive site; i dont know, some neo-nazi propoganda site where you can trade copies of Mein Kampf with like-minded idiots
Its depressing to think that you still have a voice
"This motor is actually scavenged from an additional paper shredder"
Sooo, take one functioning printer, one functioning shredder, combine the two and what do you have; one functioning shredder that looks like a printer and a pile of spare parts
OK, we're heading pretty off topic here, but this is slashback, there is no single topic.
However, Stallman and yourself are wrong about the Israel thing. The moot point is.... there is no Plaestine, never has been. To paraphrase Goebbles, "if you say a lie often enough, it becomes true". This is what has happened with "Palestine". Just becasue I decide I want the road I live on to become independant of the rest of the country, doesn't mean that is should be, even if I start blowing things up to proove my point.
If I call myself a Youngerpantsian from the nation state of Younger, it doesnt matter how many times I say it, its not true, i'm still british from the UK.
Now, I cant condone military action on behalf of the Israelis, but likewise, I can't condone fundamentalists starting the trouble in the first place.
Karma be dammed, I'm posting this as me, then some people may actually read it instead of believing what Fox News tells them.
I wish I could mod you up, but just ran out of mod points on the previous article
I'd take your analogy one step further; its more like walking into a shop and having the generic product thrown in your face. Thats REALLY not going to make me want to shop there
Like yourself, pissing me off doesn't make me want to shop there; I'll either walk out of the door or just browse to another site
The difference is, when I shop online, its even easier to go to a competitors store.
Not necessarily, pyroclastic flows on Earth are flows of solid matter (rocks) that can occur during periods of volcanic activity.
Although they are made out of "solid" matter the flows seem almost liquid in nature. Don't think of the methane as one huge frozen lump, but rather many solid lumps in motion.
Why is this a sign of success?? I think this behaviour by the studios is disgusting.
OK, I can understand a simultaneous broadcast, but why doe the UK have to act as testers for the program, and then have to wait an additional 4 months because the test went well???
Karma be dammed, I'm going to download these episodes and boycott the TV showings. The UK are NOT second class consumers despite what the studios believe.
VoIP applications properly compressed using SIP should be about 8k (and remember this is just voice were talking about, not video streaming); 10% QoS on a standard 1024/512 DSL connection provides more than enough bandwidth for 6 conversations.
Simple, google desktop search with the "Larry's Any Text File Indexer". On installation you have to specify what file extensions to include in the search (e.g. *.HTML) et voila!

Dance Dance Revolution; you know, the dancing game you see in arcades (do arcades still exist?)

Long answer; yes with an if...

However, these bittorrent downloads still point to the 2.0b product, not the new release
OK, enough National Geographic...

I love mods for mods sake
I already have this. Its called Firefox with the "CustomiseGoogle" extention.
Dude, I think you need to take some more CX717.

Its Davros
It's a perfectly cromulent word!

Both available from the GDS page
