I agree with you that Family Guy is one of the smartest shows on television, but it is in no way subtle. Do you call the Kool-Aid Guy busting through a wall and yelling "OH YEAH!" subtle?
This game was announced even before Revolutions came out. It was also made of note clear that Morpheus's character would return, not mentioning anyone else. This game basically gave away the end of Revolutions; the Matrix still exists, and Neo and Trinity are dead.
Also in the movie is an ad for Tastee Wheat, which is what Mouse talked about the first Matrix. It can be seen as Seraph, Morpheus, and Trinity are chasing after the Trainman for a split second.
To everyone who is getting mad because this is a sports reference, remember this is also referenced in the movie Baseketball (created by Matt and Trey) and that's probably where the parent got it from.
Wow. That was the most stereotypical comment I've ever heard. You don't have to be stupid to like the NFL. In addition, your comment had more quotation marks per character in it than I've ever seen before. I think you should look over the usage rules for them.
He said they weren't adults. Did you read his post? He is also not suggesting that he would be fine with, or would even allow giving control of "your workplace, your country's economy, the congress, the police, the media, etc. to children aged 14 and 16." You're putting words in this guy's mouth over points which he actually set aside and gave his opinion on. Not to mention he didn't also say that teenagers are fully responsible, but they should be beyond the point where they cannot tell the difference between reality and fantasy. Therefore, everything you have just said argues no one's point.
I agree with leereyno all the way. In fact, I am 15 (right in the middle of 14 and 16, for your information), and I know the difference between right and wrong and fantasy and reality. Would I go out with a gun and kill random people? Or even shoot at random people? Absolutely not! I know the consequences of my actions. I can attribute this simple, yet very important concept to two things. One, my parents taught me how to be responsible, and how to accept the consequences for my actions. Two, the media, my parents, the Internet, religion, and other institutions have this rule: KILLING IS BAD! IT IS ILLEGAL, IMMORAL, AND DISGUSTING!
I'll tell you how Intel stays in business. I know of people who buy a new, state of the art computer every year. People think that you need to in order to "keep up" with the latest technology. I can understand why you're using a 800mhz computer if it works fine for you, I have a 1ghz T-bird that has lasted me 3 years, and I don't need anything better. However there are people who feel they do, and also need to buy every single type of PC possible (tablet PC, pocket PC, laptop PC, desktop PC etc.)
That is also wrong, as this "radiation" (whatever little there is) is also going to your hand no matter where you hold it. Therefore I propose that all cell phone users now wear lead full body suits in order to prevent cell mutation.

I know. I was just using that to show that it really isn't "Fair and Balanced," just as FOX News isn't.

They don't just remove people for no reason, and they certainly wouldn't do it for their own vendettas. Google has shown that they believe in free speech. In the past, the only reason they've censored their results is because of cease and desist letters claiming DMCA violations (usually from big companies). Besides, you could always use MSN, with their Fair and Balaced(TM) results!
But that's my point. I'm talking about the majority here. What I don't understand is why if these dickheads are getting such shitty deals, why don't they start their own record labels? To answer my own question, probably because if they got big enough, they'd end up like all the other ones. Money = power, and power is sometimes better than doing the right thing.
I'm sick of people saying that artists get shit for their work. Have any of you watched MTV Cribs? Have you seen the lifestyle these people live in? They have unlimited resources. As long as they're putting money in the bank, they could be set for life. There are people who do better and greater things for society and get paid much less. Perhaps, instead of talking about how little the artists get, we should be talking about how much they get...
Perhaps if you knew what Bittorrent was, then you'd realize more people downloading = more people uploading, and therefore faster speeds. But nice going, dumbass!
This goes to every who has replied to this thread. Some of your theories are very interesting, however they can be proven false by watching The Second Renaissance Parts I and II from the Animatrix. It explains how the Matrix was created and that there is a war between Man and Machine. Unless the Animatrix is designed to totally throw people off, it is a valid representation of prequels to the Matrix.
I suggest you watch the two movies (The Second Renaissance Parts I and II) at Into the Matrix.com before coming to your theories.
So what you're saying is that if I didn't act stupid, and protected my stuff, a 2 year old child would stop exploring and try to (unintentionally) break things? I think not.

It would be Matrices, JCMoney. Thanks for visiting Slashdot!

But that wouldn't be HDTV.
There actually is an NSA? I thought it only appeared in movies like Triple X...
Actually Viewtiful Joe for the GCN was released at $40... probably another price reduction to help sell the Cube.

Try prior art to Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" button.

That's already been done for fuck.

(...But I find the reference section a little more enlightening)
Dreamcast came out on 9-9-99. That would make it just under 3 years old.

Put your crap out of reach and the childrent wont hurt it... Sheesh, why are people stuch retards when it comes to parenting today?
Gee, today? As opposed to when you were a parent, in the 1950s? 2 year old children like to explore, find, and break things.
Because the guy is running Windows. On Windows it's not as easy as "find a copy of lame" and "crontab whatever recording schedule you want".
