From my distant history memory, Yea, I think so. People wouldn't know what to do with an attachment if they didn't have it spooge all over them automatically. I'm glad I hang out with the smart crowd.
I've been finding the same thing in my yahoo mail inbox... I've also been getting a lot of messages from mail servers telling me that I've sent them viruses. So, I know my addy is being used as a sender addy. My guess is some online merchant got hit that has my yahoo addy and that's where a LOT of the mail came from.
This is why I still use P2P (Point to Point) communications whenver I can. The only cost is the equipment, no service fees or subscriptions. I haven't seen a virus infect any CPU in a radio yet...!
(Well, it may happen eventually... the side effect of connecting your computer to your radio or scanner, I suppose.)
I think what they may be trying to get at, is if your computer is subpeona'd, make sure your key is nowhere to be found (or destroyed). Makes it difficult for them to get at yer data. THey probably won't know about the key right away, and you may have time to get rid of it.
Well, it's not foolproof, but it's a step in the right direction. Just remember, our freedoms are slowly eroded so we don't notice them disappearing. This is a small step in the right direction. Take what we can get, and encourage the progress.
I've been using 1200-1800mAH batteries in my digital cameras, CB Walkie Talkie's, and other items for a while. I have a 1 hour Ray-O-Vac charger that works on AC and 12v DC. It charges each cell individually, which is better than most chargers, that charge 2 at a time. Yea, the batteries get hot, and they probably don't last as long as they would if i trickle charged them, but they're not expensive anymore. You can pick up a 4 pack of 1800mAH AA batteries for well under $10. Not too bad, considering they used to be $4-5 each.
A lot of devices are being designed for the lower voltage of rechargable batteries. They are made to run on 4.8v instead of 6v... etc....
And in my Olympus C730UZ, the nimh's outlast the alkaline batteries.
Simple. Get up and walk around. Contrary to all the paid ads on tv... just burning calories will take weight off. You don't have to target yer stomach if you wanna lose a gut. Targeting exersize is for building/toning muscle groups.
They probably have to jump through hoops to do international sales, or something. I'm far from an expert in this area, but I'll take a stab that there's a lot less red tape when you're only selling within the country.
Just my $.02.

Yea, they stand OUTSIDE the vehicle with everything shut tightly... that's their protection.
But, I bet if a window blew out or something, it'd get loud in a hurry.
No way. Not a chance in hell I'm gonna let something running a program that was NOT written by me to decide where my money is gonna go. Not even close. If M$ has their way, you'll probly be dining at the Big Billy's Steakhouse, or sleeping at the Monopolodge Hotel.
I'll pass. I'll take the time to make reservations myself, thank you.
It's pretty sad the amount of kids on drugs for having short attention spans. Sometimes I don't like staring at the same thing too long, either. I get into the quick-satisfaction of doing things fast, quickly, etc...
...Just go get a Commodore Vic-20, 64, 128, Plus/4, 16, etc... (0o0o or an SX-64, I have one of them) and start pluggin' away at it. Simple. Gather up some 5.25" DD floppies, cassettes, or DD 3.5" floppies (If you find a 1581 drive) and have at it. There are pleany of programming support sites, and you can even hit the IRC for help.
Why shouldn't we? Because we're supposed to be more intelligent than someone just doing manual labor. We work more with our brains rather than our bodies. We shouldn't have to pay into a union because we're too ignorant to help ourselves, and look for other work.
Unions, generally, are for people who have little job skill, other than moving around sheet metal, and don't have the brain power to realize that they don't have to work at once place for whatever they get paid forever.
Yea, the job market is pretty bleak now, but it won't be that way forever. Remember all those PC's and servers we were all installing/upgrading in the late 90's... well, they're getting old again.
...they'll create another. Gee, and I thought that getting some conservatives in office would help lower the tax burden. Pussies. Flat out, wimpy-ass pussies. We do need a big third party, the "I got f'in ballz" party. Cowering, pussified republicans. Serves them right for letting themselves get walked all over.::sigh:: Maybe I'll change my party affiliation to "independant".
Being born and raised in NJ (living in upstate NY now), I have seen how all the new immigrants to NJ have ruined the state. Seems that the majority of NJ residents now just roll over and let the place turn into a socialist-type state. Can't do anything there anymore without a permit. Shit, can barely own a gun, and you sure as hell can't keep it on you.
Even a Pellet Air Pistol, which I can buy in Wal-Mart up here, could get you arrested for having it in your posession in NJ. If that's not early-nazi germany, i dont know what is...
...I vow never to buy another CD ever again. Or until at least the value of music (not retail cost, the value) I download is equal to, or greater than this kid's life savings. Depending on how good the kid was with money, I could have hit it already.
And, as Bruce Almighty once said... "Smite me, oh RIAA, smite me."

ROFLMAOPMPHAHA.
Back in the BBS days we'd just make up additions to the ROFLMAO ack.
That story shoulda been posted under "Comedy".

I personally can't understand how people can stomach that crap for general listening.
-----UnQUOTE-----
Easy, most people don't care, or use crappy audio equipment. Look how many people are blindly happy with M$'s products. Most people are sheep.
That's all.
Ya know, sometimes /. posts old news as new news... well, maybe not sometimes... most of the time, nah, all the time, close to never? shrug.

0o0o0o yea... gotta get a bird, with a beak the right shape to pick up the CD's and move them from pile, to burner, to pile... that'd kick ass...
Just have to figure out a "drip" tray, and refueling stations.

I'll keep trying.
