It needs to be included with Unreal Tournament 2003. My roommate beat Unreal II the same day he bought it. Granted that's about 16 hours, but for $50 we felt cheated, especially with lack of any replay value. Rather than cheating the consumer out of $50 extra bucks, Unreal II should have just been the single player to UT2K3, or bundled together to save money. I hope they learned their lesson this time trying to extort that extra bit of cash out of consumers. Look at the ad at the top of the screen. They're ALL for Unreal, and in all honesty, it's just the same game rehashed into an XBox game, singeplayer game and multiplayer game. *sigh* CliffyB sold out.
And at least make it a Gravis Gamepad or something for the Joystick... an MS sidewinder probably goes over as well as the Microsoft ads.
When console manufacturers offered exclusive contracts to developers, it was for less than the game would profit, so that it actually had a purpose. Nowadays, MS just likes the feeling of each sale.
Here's a link Nearly 130,000 downloads... And I see for some reason you also fail to mention PalmOS, period. Are the Palm, Handspring, Samsungs and Kyocera PalmOS smartphones not good enough?
Sony has been making asian language Clies on the PalmOS for years. And ANY Palm can use CJKOS(Chinese, Japanese, Korean Operating System) which is exactly what you need. Sorry for having you be in the dark for so long. I mean, it's darn near the most popular file at PalmGear.com, the 2nd leading Palm site to Handango. Next time use google instead of wasting space on the front page.
I wonder how this works under Lindows? As soon as installation can be snagless without needing a/. article to neccessitate play, Linux will gain the foothold it needs with the commons. I'm sure PC cafe's would love it if they could run StarCraft and Counter-strike just fine on a Redhat or Mandrake distribution for a LOW LOW fee.
I have a Rio PMP300, the very first mp3 player ever made. I love it, even if it has a few drawbacks(32mb card limit, no usb). And mentioning ReplayTV reminds me of an article from last year saying how Tivo is doomed to fail because they invented the modern PVR. That might not happen now that SonicBlue is bankrupt. Funny how ironic it is. SonicBlue died due to other mp3 players, and possibly could have killed Tivo Corp with THEIR PVR.
1.7 pirated CDs for each real music CD?...I get more pissed off each time that they assume that each spindle of CDs I buy goes to music. NOT ONCE of the last 200 CDs I've burned have been made into music CDs. But do they know? Yes. Do they care? No, it gives them leverage to just bundle it all in a giant pirated-cd-bin and sound more compelling.
Well, Super Mario World was great, but not Nintendo's brightest moment. Me, and many others, still prefer SMB3, which is making the wait for it on the GBA even more painful.
There are two things that none of these legitimate p2p programs have that lead to their failure.
The first is price. Honestly, it costs more to download the entire CD than to buy it. There's no incentive to support them at that point. How stupid do they think we are?
And second, is that they need mp3 player compatibility. I have a Rio pmp300. I listen to purchased music on it. If some service I PAY FOR won't let me do that, then I won't subscribe to it.
See, that proves MY point. The genesis DID have backwards compatibility WITH an adapter, yet people today had NO CLUE there was even a console BEFORE the Genesis(*cough*Master System*cough*) which goes to prove that it's really just compelling games that makes it popular, and the SNES just didn't provide it at the beginning. Toward the end it got MUCH better, but it still was junk at the start.
Right as arcades are down to just fighters and Bemani, MS will swoop in and take it over with predatory pricing to offer 25 cent games to all! Honestly, why support the arcades with it NOW? It needs to go through some major restructuring and realize that we go to arcades for something we can't experience at home, like a $3,300 dance mat or a sit-down race car simulator. Cheap fighters, shooters don't do it anymore, unless it's a light-gun. Why DRIVE down to an arcade to go into a DARK room and spend MONEY to play something you could rent for half the price and pollution and twice the value?
Limewire and Xolox's creator's were very civil discussing it. Bearshare's guy actully posted a rant on a forum with SEVERAL cuss words and went out of control. That's why I've been banning BearShare users when they try to download from me. I want that program to die now. I don't care how good it is. If the creator can't be mature about it, I can't support it.
How could they leave out one of the most important devices of this coming year? I see other unreleased Palms on there, but where is the Kyocera 7135? It's been a documented fact that Smartphone sales have been down since the announcement of it back on June 24th, 2002. USA Today had an ad in it mentioning 47,000 people on the waiting list for it(Me being one of them). It's finally available in limited markets, but I find it appaling that they could ignore the smartest smartphone of them all. Here is an avid collection of people dedicated to this pda. How can you ignore it?
You can tell programmers never want people to cosplay. The faces never match. The people just wear cheap tupperware and magic marker'd clothing in attempt to look cool when they do QUITE the opposite. That fire should go burn his entire body. We need another poll. Who would you NOT rather have as a roommate, a furry or a cosplayer?
EFNet, hi, I've know you for a while... I guess I'm going to get to know you better now. "Think F as in files... Think F as in files..." Of course, on that note, I would have thought D in DALNet would be "downloading".;-)

Seattle was also the city that had Rockstar place ads for Vice City on their buses and pulled them off once they realized it was an M rated game.
And I bet the population density is just the same, too, huh?

what kind of animals can we train to drive for under $1,000,000?
Chimps?
Dolphins?
Look how many people believe in the 24-hour ROM possession law? That's even funnier.
I saw the Mandrake logo and was hoping that 9.1 was released... *sigh* just a bit longer.

I guess that's a good thing that you don't have the NZ90. Or else your penis would be the weight of a brick and have a bend in the middle. ;-)

With Sony's product cycle, owners of T665's and SJ30's now have discontinued and unsupported devices.

Any episode with a hotdog in it.
Sure it plays mp3s, but you can't use them as ringtones. And it only uses mmc's, not sd cards. Plus it doesn't look like something I'd use in public.
If the games are good, though, you can count me in.
