    Java is a bad example of allocating ram.

    It performs best when you allocate closer to its actual needs.

    The difference between my onboard realtek sound and my soundblaster zxr is night and day.

    As for ethernet I would only use a card if both of my onboard ports died or I want to do something a bit more crazy, like fiddle with 10 gigabit

    The funny thing about China is although they have workarounds for much of the government censorship is that they don't bother.

    It has to do with internal communication between citizens, they don't go on Facebook not because they can't but because none of their network is there.

    They only work around the censorship when needed for relations with other countries.

    Same goes for using Google services. Google needs a presence there to get some mind share from the populace, even if it is heavily censored.

    The numpad also has a convenient enter key and arrows to just the left of it. Much better for spreadsheets and calculator style work.

    There is a bunch more privacy settings in the privacy area in the settings app. I switched off everything and only installed a local account.

    Numpads for the win, handy for spreadsheets, games, entering long numbers etc. I hardly touch the number row on my keyboard. 15" laptop is the minimum that numpads should be included, what I find more disturbing is 17"-18" laptops without them.

    Lost a slide for 3rd party client that was to be featured in a skateboarding magazine.
    I think one of the coworkers stole it as I did not get along with them.

    Insurance claims for that kind of thing can involve the cost of setting up the shoot again, whatever that entails.
    Was fired not long after.

    Ah navigating sites in a language you don't understand in order to get hardware working or driver updates when the manufacturer is plain useless.

    Yep been there and done that at least once...

    Hovering over buttons that are images is helpful as the site code is often in english
