Yeah, that's 1gbit for 100 households to share. But in southern Sweden, Lund to be more specific, Labs2 offers 1gbit per household for just about $109 a month. You can read more below, but there aren't any good English sources other than forums.
Stockholm is already using fuel cell buses on some routes, as well as in eight other european cities. The routes are called the water lines and I must say that the pros, less noise and only water in the exhaust pipes is way better than the cons.
What about not enabling cell phones to work on flights, for the sake of privacy.
Either that or having a small cell phone talking room, other than those toilets, otherwise occupied by kids with small bladders, people with stomachs that have reacted badly with the food and couples joining the mile high club.
If you are so important you need your cell phone on during a flight, you're important enough for a private room to talk in.
Isn't the new thing UMTS? Maybe I'm just a bit too european.
I've heard they've been getting video conversations over there for very long now, while here nobody seems to want them. Maybe that's because you can't walk and videochat at the same time - just like gum.
Finally a reason to do the laundry and get clean underwear.
Although, I wonder what would happend if they ID a criminal in his clothes and objects, and sends the info for surveilance cameras in stores and in towns. This could make 1984 come faster than we all expected.
if, and i mean if since i have no evidence, the afghanistan terrorists were the ones behind this, they might want to use it as a wake up call, they migh have wanted to say "we are sick of you not taking us seriously" and hence taking drastic measures.
But I wonder how to take one seriously who wont allow free speech and so one, I for one can't do that.
The news also mentioned these prisoners and how afghanistan could use them to get other people out of the US prisons, if it was afghanistan terrorists.
someone said something about a group called s11 that are against the global economy or something similar, i have to make a notice that their website is up again for those who are interested.
I know a lot of youngsters in Sweden that actually not like the other kids has waved this off but has gotten really involved in this and tries to get as much info about this, and still i've heard really smart, and of course really dumb, remarks from young people. Got some news this morning from a friend of mine that the gold price jumped and he insured how this looks very much like a warscenario, financially.
I just wanted to mention how this has affected everyone, and some even more than others. I am one of the ones mentioned last.
as shown yesterday, it's not the outside attacks the USA can be damaged from, it's the inside ones and that's much worse since they are harder to find out in advance

I am on 24mbps for $50 a month, but there are cheaper alternatives, such as Adamos 28mbps for $44/month.
The big problem is also screens cracking unprovoked, not just scratching - which has been an issue with all iPods that I'm aware of.

By the way, what are the cons?
This is great, but where are the screenshots?!
I am running OSX on my Dell, thanks to PEAR.
I know. I'm not, and the harder I try the less fun we all have.
This has happened before, but in an another way.
Someone speculated that MSN might considered taking Google over.
Geez, if I were to speculate about every time I might considered to eat I would have starved by now.

who says that the way with stockholders is the best way too?
;P
since they run on that a company's only social obligation is to deliver profit to the stockholder, then that's not good for the consumer either
I remember something of easy to use linux. It was called Corel Linux something. It kind of disappeared.
Where are the socialists on this matter? Shouldn't they have a say, or is it all the bourgousie's fault?
it's really fun to see what you can do with the quake engine, especially this one :D
it's weird because it infringes on free speech but still it's just like saying: "don't use this weapon on the one who gave it to you"
i never heard of ultima 1, but nothing really beats quake 1 :D some engine remakes to that and you have the unofficial sequel Nehahra :D
