    The one you hope for: Someone finds and public announces a problem. You team looks "quick to act" deploys a solution.

    That other one: Someone exploits the bug to a degree you and your team never considered and your user community is devastated.

    As a DBA I 100% agree. I have had 800MB DB's grow to 1.4T (seemingly overnight) and managers ask me "What's changed?" (You are in PHB syndrome) "Umm... do you remember the change control we did for the last 2 years? Do you see your reflection in the mirror?"

    I never liked either of them. uTorrent is Windows only and BitTorrent is somewhat lacking on the Mac. As much as I think Azureus is cool, I am starting to take a liking to Torrent Flux. Plus... I can run it on my hosting site.

    Duh he -IS- a Mac user!

    I am a mac user too and quite honestly except for the new "Ohhs and Ahhs" it does not seem to be much different than XP. Granted, now you get some integration of built-in applications but it still PALES in comparison to iLife.

    As a DBA, if developers would read... oh.... I dunno... just Chapter 1... the basics of SQL... of this book... any SQL book really AND understand "the basics"... My job would be 100 times easier!

    I spend much of my time explaining why a 5 page SQL statement "that takes a long time" is NOT A DATABASE PROBLEM!

    Memory - REAL EASY actually the same as a PC CPU - It depends lot of G4 upgrades no G5 upgrades as of yet HDD - Standard SATA DVD,HD drives - They use off the shelf models but you will be stuck with certain ones Video Cards - Ditto

    I am actually pretty satisfied with the speed of my 'G' system I would rather they would have focused their efforts on 'reliable speed at a DISTANCE' (without having to erect a GIANT antenna, boosters, etc...)

    A.K.A I want 'G' speeds 5-15 miles out.

    There is only 12 Federal Reserve banks and it DOES NOT work as you describe. Kinda... but not really and it BIT more complicated than that.

    The Federal Reserve system prints NO MONEY that is the job of US Bureau of Engraving and Printing

    ALL banks deal with the Fed as it is part of the job of the Fed to supervise, regulate, and rate ALL banks. There is no "members only" choice in the matter. Sheesh!

    People have faith in the system because... well... it has been working "pretty good" so far since they transfer about 93 TRILLION dollars a day.
