That isn't the only VW with "God Squad" running around Northeast Wisconsin... I know there are at least 2 more. One of which is a direct copy of the Geek Squad Beetle, with the exception of "God". Same colors, slightly changed logo
I played Quake with a trackball... a logitech trackman wheel (basically). The key to it is to have the sensitivity on the trackball super-high so that you don't have to move it too far to turn around.. plus, with the precision of a thumb, it wasn't that hard making precise movements. Sure, I was the laughingstock of my friends but they would always be below me in the rankings.
Google learned from Altavista way back when. Some users like simplicity. Give them too much choice and they will get annoyed. I know that this crowd remembers the version of Altavista when DEC ran it and what happened when Compaq bought them out. The homepage turned into a hodgepodge like yahoo and loaded slow due to it being on dialup.
Of course, when that happened, about:blank became my homepage. Once Google came around, it got set as my homepage and has stayed there.
In the US the poor 20% of the population have nothing.
This is utter tripe. It is *not* true.
I've *been a part* of that 20% for a good while, so I know. You always get care. You are never refused care. You get care on a par with most everyone else. I've always had medications and treatments provided. I've never been unable to have any testing done such as X-ray, CT, MRI, blood-work, biopsies, etc.
You get a lower standard of care. I also, was part of that lower 20%. Most of the time, they will find the first "easy" diagnosis and claim that is what it is.
starting to? They have been since WoW became so popular. Why do you think starting with BF2 it became required to "login"... with 2142 you had to purchase the game to login.
However, they are a super-regional. If you don't live in one of their areas, you can't get the service... but if you can, it's awesome service with a very decent 100% american CS team to back you up. They may not have the flashiest phones, but if you want a phone that you can use consistently. USCC is for you.
Reliability requires maintenance. The problems you are describing are lack of maintenance issues. If they can't keep simple dial tone going, what makes you think that digital is going to be any better?
Good luck finding someone to run the call for 19 dollars + enroute mileage. There would not be a valid plate, registration, and AAA member with the vehicle.
Cross Country Automotive Services (aka Onstar) would be even worse.... they would ask if that 308160 minute ETA was due to weather or if you were just busy.
because people will chase the almighty dollar. It's like when IT was hot, everyone was trying to be a computer guy with a MSCE. Unfortunately, that flooded the market and MSCE meant something different.
Remember postal? big hit. Remember Postal 2? Anyone? Anyyone? Once Postal hit and took the "OMG BLOOD AND GORE" away, the next game in the series sucked. Hardcore. Since then nobody has really cared about the stupid blood and gore games.
Am I the only one that forgot old HL/CS1.5 CD keys and WON? Last time I remember it was a pain in the ass trying to play an online game w/ a non-legit key, because it would either not let you in, or boot you out when someone else w/ the same key jumped on?
I know there were non-legit servers, but those were few and far between. It's like running a private server for WOW, it may be cool to have it in your clique, but not really feasable worldwide.
being a Center Manager, I dont really doubt them, however, some of the rules just seem outlandish. I mean, Counter-Strike is a game. People take it for real life. The people who annoy me the most are CS gamers, and I dont think it's just me.
mod parent up.
ISPs are also not common carriers: your service can get disconnected if you are detected sending spam.
Likewise, the phone company will shut off your POTS service once they find out you are telemarketing/auto-dialing from your residential landline.

No. Normally when you are hitting those buttons you are stopped or just starting to move, plus they are predefined.
And they said that the radiation would get to us all.....
in a more serious note, this sucks. Who the hell leaves their gun loaded and out in the open, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN AROUND????
Plus, "The Nintendo game called Wii"... some mighty fine reporting there, lou.
I suppose that's why industries that care about their professional image never use brown for anything.
Explain UPS then?

This was the same argument with WinXP... and look where we are now? The old stuff will die, the new stuff will have drivers.
you missed it, it's at the top

There are multiple problems to this:

IDK MY BFF JILL DOZ MTH 4 ATT
Actually, they have walls of outlets now with stools. IIRC it's branded the "Verizon Power Center". I think there were 8 outlets available.
Hey, it was free.
take out their barracks and mow down the field of those little bastards next to it.

It's exploding at this conversation.
This typical american response brought to you by Time Warner.

in the recent versions, yes, but in the old versions, there wasn't any clauses.
