One thing that I really dont understand.. maybe I shouldn't im not a lawyer.. but anyway..

As far as I knew, if a law enforcement agency wanted to place a wiretap on your phone, they have to state who they will be taping, and what they are listening for..

With carnivore, the law enforcement agency has no way to tell who is actually sending an email out, they have no way to tell. They know it came from your computer, but other then that, it could be anyone. How does this make carnivore legal? My guess is that I am wrong when it comes to them having to have a specific target when it comes to wiretaps..

I mean, is it legal for them to snoop what my 10 year old kid is sending to his friends? Isn't there some sort of law that makes it so no one could collect info on anyone under the age of 13? It may not apply to this kind of info collecting, so im probably wrong there as well.

And another point.. if the FBI puts these supercarnivore boxes at all major points of the net, wont that slow things down a bit?

I took apart a Kodak Advantix disposible camera.. found some interesting things out..

First off, when you take the camera to a shop, they just break it open, and take out an Advantix film roll, just like a normal one you would see in a normal Advantix camera.

So after I took it to a shop, I figured it might be easy to reuse these cameras.. So i took another one I had apart.. and be careful, it doens't really hurt, but you can get a shock from the battery that runs the flash.. Not sure if its a battery or what, but it shocks you.

Anyway, when the film was all done, and I took it apart, the film was all the way wound.. I am not too sure how you could unwind a new canister of film in the disposible camara, there was no mechanism for unwinding, it probably is done with some special tool or something at the factory.

Now, with this disposible digital camera, I can see some better uses for the parts its using, especially if there is an LCD viewfinder on it.. which I kinda doubt but one can wish.

I dont see why you would have to take it back to the exact store you bought it from, id imagine that any store that had the machines necessary to pull off the photos should be able to do it.. (im thinking a garden variety pc with usb). Anyway, id like to see how good these things work.. I dont have a digital camera now and I wish I did have one, they are pricey for a good one though..

Since Sept. 11th, im fairly sure that the Taliban knew something was going to happen. About a week after that, we said that we are not going to look at a terrorist group, and a country that is harboring them, as seperate, and in my opinion, is a fair warning to those contries.

They have not yet released OBL, we gave them an ultimatem you could say, they didn't step up to plate, so we take out his terrorist camps.

We know that Afganistan is going to have some troubles over this, a lot of the funds are probably going to other places then helping the unfortunate citizens of that country, so we give them some food to help out.

I bought one of these last year, and it has been working great..

The interface is a webpage built into the router (to get to it, you just go to http://192.168.1.1). When I used mine, I had a linux box running apache, and I could forward all requests to port 80 to that machines IP address, and it worked pretty good.

There is a lot of other options with it as well, but the only problem is Linksys does not provide any support beyond getting it to work, so your on your own with the more advanced stuff, but it does seem to work good so if you know what your doing you probably wont need help.

When I first got the router, I was on DSL, and my provider was pretty much crap. The DSL line would go down a few times a day, Id have to unplug and replug in my DSL modem to get it back online. There was a couple times where I had to reset the router, and plug in the settings again, but it only took a minute or so.

All in all, I like the device.. If I were to buy one today, i'd probably buy the Linksys Wireless Router, I saw this at best buy for about 120 bucks, pretty cheap for a Wireless Access Point with a range of 1000ft..
