This story isn't about what it goes for. Do you people not even read the story summary let alone the article?
"It's true that I'm seeking attention, but not for me personally. This is an experiment in property rights in the digital age, something that's gotten surprisingly little attention."
"Furthermore, in case anyone thinks this is a cheap way to make a buck I will be donating all proceeds to the EFF."
3PhaseNGround asks: "While trying to upgrade computer for the office (located out front where the receptionist sits), I had the misfortune of needing to pop the lid on main case (previously opened in the late 80s). The whole thing is a rats nest and probably a fire hazard - old-style wiring with broken-down cloth/plastic insulation strewn everywhere, and the big green board had a lot of little chips on it. Even (gently) putting the panel back on jiggled something important, and there was a nasty cracking noise and half the chips blew (all the chips on this one row). I've worked with these computer things in the past (new computer at home, hooking up a scanner to my iMac), but nothing on this scale, both in terms of complexity and potential for death. How do you industrious electrician readers go about fixing a mess like this (on a tight budget, no less) without frying the last 20 years of bookkeeping records?"
The Buy Now feature is something that EVERY brick and mortar store uses to attract people. As many many people have stated, the fact that this takes place online shouldn't make a 27.5 million dollar difference.
How about one on using search engines efficiently? I'm sure all of us here have mastered the art of skimming google results quite quickly by looking for certain keywords in titles and body snippets. Even little things like adding that magical extra word that narrows results from 50 pages to 5.
Are most of those set by default? I never changed any of those settings, and I don't recall any webpages taking over my browser as some of those settings seem to imply. Or am I misunderstanding you?
At UCD, they have IE and Mozilla both installed but I doubt many people use Mozilla. If you don't know what it is, you'd choose IE.
As for on campus email, most people use UCD's internally written webmail, geckomail (which is actually quite good). Well, it might be a modified version of something else, but it doesn't seem like it. Of course pine is still available.
I think the server would die before getting close to 145mbit..
If it's a game, get it on fileplanet, ign and such. Places like ign even have a built-in p2p client for people to use if downloads are heavy for a particular game.
'One idea being explored is to add genes - taken from cold water fish - that will allow tropical fish to live in unheated aquarium,' said Derek Lambert, editor of Today's Fishkeeper.
I was about to say, "But what about people like my dad? The carpenters and builders of America??"
Then I realized, "Oh.. but a 2x4 isn't really 2"x4".. So why not just quietly convert everything to metric and not tell any of them.. They won't know the difference! *shhh*

This isn't a troll... well, I guess it is, but it's a valid question.
What's the benefits of hemp for making products? It sure seems to me that pro-hemp people work hard to make hemp work in a variety of situations not because hemp would do the job well, but just to say "look! you can do it with hemp! hemp == good!!".
If it really is good in a particular situation and I'm way off, I'd like to hear..

No one's working on it yet. Go vote for it to show you want it done.

Find an Apple II Emulator and the ROM for it.. Something about finishing the game in less than 15 minutes takes the fun out of it. =)

Are you referring to the workers or the shoppers? I've been to a couple Fry's stores and have yet to see sales people that know their stuff.

Wouldn't pr0n 69 be more fitting?
Isn't this a dupe from last month?

Just do it a few pennies a day. Just make sure Lumbergh doesn't find out...
He hasn't officially gotten it yet. It's patent pending.

I think he's referring to when you crimp the connectors on. There are two standards you can use.

Um.. Or you can add a heater.
Trust me.. The O'Reilly book isn't any good. I tried using it right when it came out for a summer internship project.
Perhaps it's because theses authors write books about clusters but never had to build one for any particular reason.

Currently 35 people are leaving their completed downloads open for others to leech, and 5 are currently downloading.
The log file shows 2336 people loaded the torrent file, but I don't know how many actually completed it.
I've never done this before, but I thought I'd give it a shot:

What crapo.la. It can be yours for only $50! Too bad I don't have that much moo.la to spare.
Sorry.. That was really bad.
Reading your post made me think of creating a new game:
