    If you think this is cool, you should also check out the HP Itsy. You interact with said device by holding it at different angles, and hitting one button. Yes, you can play Doom like that :)

    For those of you out there who own a Compaq/HP iPAQ, and would like to run an Open-source OS on it, it is currently possibly to run Linux on it, thanks to HP's Cambridge Research Labs, and of course many contributors around the world. For more, please visit Handhelds.org. (For what it's worth, I am the person who is porting Linux to the iPAQ h1910 - and no, I am not paid by HP.)

    AltParty is not always the most popular of the demoparties - usually there is Mekka, but this year they have cancelled it. Speaking from the perspective of an 8-bit GameBoy scener, I can only hope that this doesn't have a negative impact on the scene - luckily there's Breakpoint this year. 8-bits still rock!

    It was cool when the iPod was the first easily usable MP3 player with a hard drive that fit in a small space. It was cool when they got linux support. It might've been cool if it was engraved with RMS' signature or CowboyNeal's, or even maybe Steve Jobs'. But remind me one more time why I, a geek/nerd/this/that/whatever, care about this? IANATroll, but this has gone a little too far with the 'slashvertisements'.

    Ah well. I can see my karma dropping now. Mods, do your worst...

    I know - I'm an avid 8-bit scener. Although I don't like to admit it, yes, I released 'JWDEMO' for GBDEV2002, but EFNet:#gameboy is working on putting something together to blow you away for Breakpoint!!!

    RIP Mekka. We will miss you. Apparently the organizers had some disputes they couldn't resolve. However, if you missed Dreamhack, Breakpoint looks like it's going to be the party to go to, with many of the organizers from mekka and other demoparties. (Note: FPS people need not apply - no gaming allowed, no warez allowed. sorry.) Hope to see you there!

    like... my Linux box, it like went beep beep beep, and half of my... like... pr0n was gone. I like switched to Apple so like they don't like let you view pr0n without like viewing adverts so like it convinced me that I don't like need to view it.
