That would be because it still has to translate those smooth moves you're attempting for a game that's expecting analog or pad style input.
And frankly, on PC we don't generally have the huge allowances (and the crutch) that's usually present in the form of autoaiming on console FPS titles.
In reality, the percentages of people downloading any Mickey Mouse is infinitesimal compared to the number of people downloading rips of the latest releases in CDs and movies.
At the price range of the TC64, one might as well just go get a Radeon 9800 Pro.
First the SLI, now the TC crap, and the decline in quality of the Nforce chipset after the shining pinnacle that was the Nforce2Ultra, NVidia is really backsliding. Looks like I will refrain from buying NVidia products for the next while.
Indeed. Each individual HL2 "maplet" is way smaller than any given Doom 3 map. A quick lookthrough in the SDK for example: some of the maplets are like a single curve of tunnel.
And again, "outdoor" maps are just regular maps with a skybox to the engine, nothing special.
How much reliability is in this discovery? Is it being independently verified? Is China once again reporting something falsified as part of their inferiority complex?
On the other hand, if this is for real, how much chance is there for this gene replicating? Human evolution may be happening in front of our very eyes!
Are there any known negative effects from this mutation? I'm envisaging something like sickle cell anemia here.
But I thought the problem was that the museum did NOT have an unlimited budget for security?
Not to mention that when you get guns pulled on you you generally try not to get shot. Even if it ends up costing you something priceless (which still ends up as being less precious than human life, no matter how fine the art).
The alternative is to let Valve even more brazenly rape them by shipping the game via Steam and cutting them out of the profits entirely.
VU is between a rock and a hard place. On one hand they won't see the bottom line boost from the revenue from HL2, on the other Valve is ready to cut them out of the picture to the point where they might not see enough of a return to justify publishing it.
Nope, you just have to keep track of your account name and password. One of my friends has already been burned for having tied his old HL key to a Steam account that he no longer has access to, which is registered to an e-mail address he no longer has access to. Basically, he has no way of recovering that key for a Steam account unless and until he sends back the entire HL jewelcase (on which the original key is printed) to Valve, and he's not going to get another jewelcase back for a replacement. He's sure as hell not going to bother at this point.
Sucks to be him, right?
What happens when you have NO hard evidence to prove you bought a hard copy of HL2?
The difference is that Microsoft doesn't care if you make fair-use backups of your Microsoft install media. In fact, you're often encouraged to do so--hence the slipstream feature in 2K and XP, for example.
Who cares? Game companies. They're the ones trying to have it both ways.
In debian, you set up a dchroot. Still requires initial root user action, but after that it's straightforward access from the specified regular user account.
Windows Firewall offers solid basic protection; it's better than ICF (Internet Connection Firewall, the utility it replaces), and it's a lot better than nothing."
Windows. Better than Nothing.
Sure, hardware detection and support in Linux is minimal, but it's better than nothing.
Except Steam HL2 didn't actually cost any less, so that argument went right out the window.
It would be an improvement on pumping out slashdotters.

So, suck it.
It's called "root" privileges. Thanks.
I have 2 (two) words for you:
Poison Ivy.
In reality, the percentages of people downloading any Mickey Mouse is infinitesimal compared to the number of people downloading rips of the latest releases in CDs and movies.
sqrxz was actually some german asm demo PC game that somebody decided to reimplement on the TI86 asm.
I remember this because I downloaded the original sqrxz at some point.

Yes, you can even play both copies at the same time using the same account.
The only limit comes in when you try to play the same multiplayer game with the same account at the same time. Currently.

All that is is just a skybox. Nothing to it, really.

As long as Linus et. al. refuse to setting on an ABI and API for kernel level drivers, expect none of that to solidify.

I had a problem with PuTTY being generally slow and freezing and unfreezing often but I resolved it with a BIOS update to the laptop. (go figure!)

After running that block of data hrough decryption, I've determined that block of hex is a picture of petrified Natalie Portman and hot grits.
When Doom 3 came out I said: "now somebody's going to make a CS out of this and that will mark the end of Doom 3 modding."

I don't believe the QuakeCon page. If they're my friends then what are their slashdot ids?
Linux. Better than Nothing.
