** You're the target because of your ultra agressive foreign policy. Not to mention you back a state that is DIRECTLY in conflict with Muslim interests. THEN DONT EXPECT THAT CONFLICT TO COME TO YOUR DOORSTEP?!
You want us to not defend ourselves or the right to be. Guess what...if we don't. It will be extremist fanatics killing every gay in Canada in the name of Allah. Destroying every bank, savings and loans. Forcing your women to wear excessive garments.
** You honestly think that if the Natzi like regime falls out of power that a MUSLIM govt will be put in place? Holy fuck, you are a sheep.
Man you don't get it...but you euro-minded people never have. Would you like to give Austria and Poland to NAZI Germany now or later?
*** Well, Nazi Germany exists today! IN AMERICA!!! YEE HAW .. Lie to the people, extort and control the people, wage private war FOR the people.
You in your dismal lack of understanding think this is a pride USA #1 issue. The irony is this....
The conservative segment of America is the one leading for the war, defense of American ideals, and so on. The irony, most of the conservatives tend to personally agree with the Muslim stances on homosexuality, banking, sexual licentiousness, etc. (The degenerate culture we export around the world that is the number one reason Osama attacked.) And the irony, is we are defending the rights of people like you to have the freedom to be things we do not believe in.
** the actual funny part is you BELIEVE what you are told .. perfect sheep... continue believing blind, like religion, because it will all end up the way you want. poor poor sheep.
Maybe we should let the extremists come to power...
Let me ask you this...what do you think would happen? who do you think would be the ones allowed to live? moral conservatives....or the supporters of homosexuality and non-traditional morals?
**Personally I dont think that North America would ever be "taken over" by muslim warriors. This is how the FEAR has taken you .. you actually believe this.
We're defending your asses...and you're to pompous and full of yourselves to realize it.
**YOU ARE DEFENDING YOUR FUCKING MONITARY INTERESTS SO DONT FUCKING PLAY THE BRAVE SOLDIER TO ME YOU FUCKING SHEEP! THE ONLY REASON YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DEFEND YOURSELVES IS BECAUSE OF YOUR BACKWARDS PROTECT OUR OWN GREEDY INSTERESTS VIEW OF MORAL SOCIETY. IF YOU EVER REALLY KNEW WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE A BROTHER TO ANOTHER WORDLY BODY YOU WOULDNT BE SUCH A FUCKING CLOSED MINDED SHEEP AND ACTUALLY PARTICIPATE IN WORLD ISSUES, INSTEAD OF STEPPING IN AND TAKING OVER.

I double my income by playing at party poker and I know there are bots in there. The problem with the bots is they play TOO tight. You can easily fool these things at the flop. 4th and 5th they calculate odds very well.

A good poker player either sees this type of player as a: a very tight good player or b: a bot.

I dont know about the whole Western Cartoon culture. I have been watching "Anime" since I was 4 when my Koren babysitter used to sit me down in front of Gatchaman and other long forgotten series of the late 70's. I would tend to agree that anime itself is not Slashdot material, however, as geek culture it is probably the "art" of the culture. There is quite a lot of crap anime out there and there are some films I would put on level with fine art. What cartoons from North America would you recommend?

    5. Ghost in the Shell - technically very nice and the story line is very good.

Most of what the North American eyes see are a "limited" version of the actual stories as Manga is the true story and the films are usually the mockup of that. Ottomos Akira is one of my favourite "comics" ever.

That being said I am waiting all the new releases from the masters of both Manga and Anime.

Windows does have major flaws. M$ does have bad practises. Windows is a definite security nightmare. Fortunately I have grown up with both ends of the spectrum, unfortunately I have to deal with both.

Since I have to support front end "workers" we use M$ product. Why? because they are used to it. They have it at home on their Dells and want to see it at work as well.

Most users have no idea about the "back end" of how computers work. So technically if a program sends mail, it sends mail, but it has to "look" the same as Outlook. If it doesnt look the same, it is different.

Dont even get me started on our production pods that need adobe this and that.

I deal with many of the Canadian Ministries and all I can say is ...

Congrats to StarOffice, too bad it will be something else in 2-4 years.

I can not tell you how many times I have gone into a ministry (health, edu, trans, finance) and they are implementing a "new solution" to a "problem". I use M$ product in the front end because it is what my people are "used" to using. Something so much as a change in GUI and they will go crazy.

I would love nothing more than to implement OpenSource widely into my environment, I have tried to have users "try" different OpenSource offerings, however, they just don't get it. If it isnt their usual looking desktop forget it. Panic, fear and an overall stupidity overcome them.

"Where is word?", "well, you can use this program", "Is it word?", "no, but it is like word", "oh, can you install word?", "ugh"

Another issue I think will arise out of this is attachments. My company deals heavily in sales and procurement and without a common word processor document format, the government will spend more money on front end office support than if they had of bought into the devil.

If your average user actually knew how to use a computer properly M$ wouldn't have this grip. Train people on how to use a computer not how to use an appliance.

    Anyways, give'em heck guys.
