thanks for letting me know, i didnt know the slashdot croud felt that way, I happily payed for all my linux licenses from sco. Only thing I didnt like was the fact that they charged me almost double for my dual cpu machines. Oh well better be safe than sorry. Hopefully they will lower the price alittle in the future so linux will become more mainstream.

Suse, is probably the most restrictive distro I have used. Just trying to install something like Mythtv or just trying to compile a new module in your kernel is very hard to do, since they dont supply you with the source of the kernel your running. If its a first time trying linux, Suse might be okay, but considering you dont have much room to grow with it, I dont recommend it. I would seriously try debian or even Gentoo Linux. They have real packagemanagment, and Gentoo has excelent documentation, but you shouldnt jump into these distros if your a complete newbie. Also If your new to Linux, Learn the CLI not the GUI.....

He then surprised me by building one of the best distros I have ever used. He has even gone as far as helping me personally in the irc chat rooms, and I even helped him once with a DECSS issue he was having with xine and dvdnav. I truly think he was a great person, I have even donated to gentoo linux just because I wanted to help D Robbins idea grow and for him to find gentoo worthwhile. I am sad to see him go and he will be well missed, but Im sure we will see him in the #gentoo-dev forums when he is bored. :-) I love you drobbins!

So we were still able to ring people out and buy water and candy. :) At the time I took the bus to work and they canceled all the buses, so I had to get a ride home from this hot girl that worked with me, we ended up getting married, because we bonded on that day. I would say it was a good day for me.
