Most people will not see it that way, will not describe the documents, making it mostly worthless. Shame really.
Either that, or Word will now automagically populate the meta tag fields with the text of your document (minus articles, conjunctions, etc), thereby increasing the size of your (already bloated) typical Word file by nearly double...

Good point. OS X did this with PDFs for things like the dock 'poof' effect and various menu item states (airport signal, battery, etc). Not sure if they're still using them or not, since that was in the 10.0 and 10.1 days...
I'd settle for ~900GB on a disc, if it meant it would fit in all the existing technology/drives/spinners/changers that are already out there...
And what good would it do you to be able to put one of these new discs into your current CD/DVD player? It wouldn't have any idea what to do with it...
My parents get dialup for something like $14 a month, whereas 3Mbps cable internet is a shade under $60.
Are you also factoring the 20 bucks or so a month for the extra phoneline, or do your folks not mind you tying up the line 24/7? Yeah, I know it's still cheaper even then, but it does narrow the gap a fair bit...

I'm confused. If the plugin is ~700K, and the Firefox installer for Windows is ~4.6M, then how in the hell can the standalone Sunbird be ~8M, more over 3 megabytes more than the browser and plugin combined?
Probably for the same reason that the Firefox installer for windows used to clock in at about 17MB until just a few months ago...It hasn't been trimmed down and cleaned up yet. Considering this thing has just been announced you can't expect them to be working on final steps yet...

Why do you need Doom3? According to your specs the Amigas include DDR. That should keep you busy for a while (and help you shed those unwanted pounds)...
With e-mail, someone can click on a link and make an impulse buy in under 5 minutes. With cell spam, the person sees the message and then has to go out of their way to pursue the product.
