  2. Pennys not legal tender? on RIAA Grabs Student's Life's Savings · · Score: 1

Reply if you can point me to a source or can prove me wrong... I remember hearign from someone that pennys are not legal tender. After some group (libertarians?) protesting taxes mailed all their taxes to the IRS in pennys, the tresury department declared them non-legal tender or something like that. The best proof of this i've heard is that since its a crime to destoy money or whatever, penny's must not be legal tender because they have those penny stamping machines at zoos and places, and i'd assume those are completly legal.

I case modded my notebook, a small switch and some leds pointed at the keyboard, they work pretty well, this was more funtional than anything else. Also a coat of metalic paint followed by a coat of clear uv reactive paint. It looks pretty sweet, and its unique as hell, i've googled around and havn't been able to find any laptop mods.

  22. Ants? on Ant Farm PC · · Score: 4, Interesting

This may not be the best idea, i was watching something on the discovery channel the other day about fire ants. It was talking about all the damage they've caused across the south because they're atracted to electrical fields. They short out computers, traffic lights, appliances, and make hell for the linemen because they ussually nest under high voltage lines. They had a bunch on a live pc board, and they just swarmed over certain components, the ones i'm assuming that had strong em fields. This may be just fire ants though, i have no idea.

Thinkgeek has some deals, but for the rocord the watch on the manufacturerers site is 93,not dollars, that ends up as $108.747 USD(1 USD = 0.855192 EUR). That plus a USB extension cable, and not having to pay international shipping on the watch makes it a comparable deal.
